IZARD COUNTY SHERIFF'S REPORT SHERIFF JACK YANCEY

Justin Osterkamp

 

According to Chief Deputy Charley Melton, on May 2 Deputy Jason Jordan made a traffic stop on a tan Cadillac near the intersection of Highway 56 and Highway 5 in Calico Rock. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Justin Osterkamp, age 35 of Viola. During the stop Deputy Jordan located methamphetamine on Osterkamp's person. As a result, Osterkamp was charged with possession of a controlled substance, a class "D" felony, and driving on a suspended driver's license. Osterkamp is scheduled to be in the Izard County Circuit Court on June 17. 

As a result of an incident on Highway 177 near the Dolph Road on May 2 where a vehicle had run through a fence and left the scene, Deputy Tyler Webb charged Benjamin Lindsey, age 39 of Elizabeth, with DWI and leaving the scene of an accident. Lindsey is scheduled to be in the Izard County District Court on July 9. 

On May 4, Kaiden Withrow, age 18 of Calico Rock, was arrested by Deputy Austin Grayham on a warrant for harassing communications and terroristic threatening. Withrow is scheduled to be in the Izard County District Court on July 9.
