IZARD COUNTY SHERIFF'S REPORT SHERIFF JACK YANCEY

According to Chief Deputy Charley Melton, on March 23 Sgt. Steve Davidson took a report at the Old Philidelphia Church on the Larkin Road in reference to vandalism. Davidson reported the front doors had been forced open and windows broken from the inside. As a result of the investigation and tips from the public, four juveniles, ages 14 and 15, have been charged with criminal mischief.

Other arrest; on May 20, Cody Curtis, age 29 of Mount Pleasant, was arrested by Trooper Lively for failure to maintain control of a vehicle, no proof of insurance, and DWI. Curtis is scheduled to appear in the Izard County District Court on July 9. Curtis was later transported to Independence County on a felony warrant.

On May 21, Jeffrey McKinney, age 31 of Melbourne, was arrested by Probation/Parole Officer Josh Morehead for probation violations.

On May 22, Lewie Elmer Branscum, age 34 of Calico Rock, was arrested by Deputy Tyler Webb for DWI. Branscum was out on bond out of the Izard County Circuit Court at the time of this incident. As a result, Branscum's Circuit Court bond was revoked. He is scheduled to appear in the Izard County District court on July 23.

On May 23, Steven Riffe, age 59 of Oxford, was arrested by Deputy D.J. Tiernan for domestic battery, criminal trespassing, and driving on a suspended driver's license. Riffe is scheduled to appear in the Izard County District Count on August 6.

On May 23, Cameron Wilson, age 27 of Rose Bud, was arrested by Deputy Toby Smith for disorderly conduct, possession of drug paraphernalia, open container, and disorderly conduct. Wilson is scheduled to appear in the Izard County District Court on July 23. 

On May 24, Richard Hayes, age 34 of Melbourne, was arrested by Deputy D.J. Tiernan for public intoxication and criminal trespass. Hayes is scheduled to appear in the Izard County District Court on August 6.

On May 26, Steven Conyers, age 51 of Mount Pleasant, was arrested on a warrant for domestic battery. Conyers is scheduled to appear in the Izard County District Court on June 11.
