According to Chief Deputy Charley Melton, on November 8 Deputy D.J. Tiernan was called to an apartment complex in Melbourne for a report of someone entering the apartment in the early morning hours. The victim in the case had video surveillance from inside the apartment. The video showed the neighbor of the adjoining apartment coming in the victim's apartment and unhooking the surveillance camera. Kenneth Duncan, age 37 of Melbourne, was arrested and charged with residential burglary; a class B felony, and criminal mischief 2nd degree; a class A misdemeanor. Duncan was also charged as a habitual offender. His bond was set at $30,000 professional with a court date in the Izard County Circuit Court of November 17.

On November 11 deputies were called to a residence off the Day Road just outside of Horseshoe bend for a reported domestic. During the investigation it was determined that Michael Gilbreath, age 46 of Ash Flat, had assaulted an 89-year-old victim. Deputies were also told that after Gilbreath had assaulted the victim he retrieved a knife and held it to the victim's throat and had threatened their life. There were minors present during this time. Gilbreath was arrested and charged with aggravated assault; a class C felony, domestic battery 2nd degree; a class C felony, terroristic threatening; a class D felony, and endangering the welfare of a minor; a class A misdemeanor. Gilbreath is being held on a $20,000 cash bond with a court date in the Izard County Circuit Court of November 17.

On November 13 Christopher Powell, age 28 of Bee Branch, was arrested on a warrant after an investigation after an adult female reporting that when she was a minor that Powell had performed sex acts on her. Powell has been charged with rape; a class Y felony, and two counts of sexual assault in the second degree; a class B felony. Powell is being held on a $500,000 professional bond with a court date of November 17 in the Izard County Circuit Court.

On November 9 Christina Stenseth, age 44 of Mountain Home was arrested on probation violations. She is being held on no bond with a court date in the Izard County Circuit Court of November 17.

On November 10 Brian Gibson, age 54 of Horseshoe Bend, was arrested by Deputy J Barnes for disorderly conduct. Gibson is scheduled to appear in the Izard County District Court on December 8.

On November 13 Andrew Macey, age 19 of Sage, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear out of the Izard County District Court. Macey is scheduled to appear in court on November 19.

On November 14 Richard Hayes, age 35 of Melbourne, was arrested by Deputy D.J. Tiernan for public intoxication. Hayes is scheduled to appear in the Izard County District Court on November 19.

On November 15 Adam Cooper, age 28 of Melbourne, was arrested by Deputy Evan Jones for DWI, refusal to submit to a chemical test. Cooper is scheduled to appear in the Izard County District Court on December 10.
