According to Chief Deputy Charley Melton, on November 20 Arkansas Game and Fish Officer Ryan Warner came across Stephen McCurley, age 48 of Wideman, who had been deer hunting and had a rifle with him. Warner learned McCurley did not have a hunting license and that he was a convicted felon who could not possess a firearm. McCurley was charged with possession of a firearm by certain persons, a class D felony. McCurley is currently out on bond out of the Izard County Circuit Court on previous felony charges. His conditions of bond also state that he cannot be in possession of any weapons. His bond on the previous case has been revoked and he is currently being held on no bond. McCurley is scheduled to appear in the Izard County Circuit Court on December 23.

On November 16, Probation/Parole Officer Hunter Boles arrested Michael Kelly, age 31 of Franklin, on a warrant for parole violations. Kelly is being held with no bond.

On November 17 Kerry Sager, age 39 of Gassville, was arrested on Jail Administrator Sherry Davidson on a warrant out of the Izard County Circuit Court for failure to appear. Sager is being held with no bond and a court date of December 23.

On November 17 William Malone, age 35 of Pineville, was arrested by Jail Administrator Sherry Davidson on a warrant out of the Izard County Circuit Court for failure to appear. Malone is being held with no bond and a court date of December 23.

On November 18 Russell Foley, age 52 of Horeshoe Bend, was arrested on a warrant for assault 1st degree and public intoxication. Foley is scheduled to appear in the Izard County District Court on December 8.

On November 19 Ceclia Taylor, age 36 of Oxford, was arrested by Deputy Tyler Webb for violation of a protection order. Taylor is scheduled to appear in the Izard County District Court on February 4, 2021.

On November 20 Steven Ashworth, age 24 of Melbourne, was arrested by Sgt. Mike Smith for public intoxication, disorderly conduct, and terroristic threatening. Ashworth is currently under supervision with the Arkansas Department of Community Corrections. He is currently being held with no bond and a court date of January 7, 2021.
