JERRY L. LEWIS
A Wednesday afternoon call to Mt. Pleasant resulted in the arrest of a Batesville man. The call stated that an altercation was in progress near the intersection of state highway 69 and West Road involving a man and a woman. Upon arrival, deputies charged eighteen year old Jerry L. Lewis with domestic battering third degree and public intoxication. Lewis posted bond the following day in the amount of $2,500 and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility with a future court date.
A twenty year old Melbourne man was arrested New Year’s night on charges of driving while intoxicated and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle. Bryant Odell Rawlings, age 20, failed to stop when Deputy Phil Story attempted the stop, but continued driving until reaching the driveway of a friend’s house. Rawlings failed several field sobriety tests and blew beyond the limit on a BAC test. Rawlings later posted bond and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility.
Ronnie Ray Hollowell, age 41 of Mt. Pleasant was December 27 on a warrant charging him as a felon in possession of a firearm. Hollowell remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of a $10,000 bond.
Dale Eugene Hughes, age 49 of Linchfield, Arkansas was arrested December 28 on several Independence County warrants. Hughes was picked up from the Izard County Detention Facility by Independence County authorities.
Kevin Keith Chute, age 39 of Pineville was arrested January 1 on a local failure to appear warrant and a warrant from Fayette County, Tennessee. Chute remains in the Izard County Detention Facility.
James Morris Brooks, age 40 of Melbourne was arrested on December 27 on numerous out of county warrants. Brooks was later transferred to Baxter County.
Heather Runae Roemmich, age 26 of Calico Rock was arrested December 28 on a failure to pay fines warrant. Roemmich posted bond December 30 in the amount of $220 and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility.
Devin Mark Reihn, age Fort Leonard, Missouri was arrested January 1 on a failure to appear warrant. Reihn posted bond in the amount of $205 and was released.
