IZARD COUNTY PAIR FACING TEN FELONY DRUG CHARGES

An Izard County man faces six felony drug charges while a local female faces four felony drug counts. The charges stem from a meth lab seizure at house occupied by the pair on Knob Creek Road near Melbourne.

Travis T. Wilson, age 32 of the J Bar J community was charged Thursday in Izard County Circuit Court with the manufacture of a controlled substance-meth, a class “y” felony; possession with the intent to deliver-meth, a class “y” felony; possession with the intent to deliver marijuana, a class “c” felony; use or possession with the intent to use drug paraphernalia with the intent to manufacture methamphetamine, a class “b” felony; possession with the intent to use drug paraphernalia, a class “c” felony; and possession of methamphetamine.

Alesisha Eyvonne Cooley, age 31 of Knob Creek Road was charged with manufacture of a controlled substance, -meth, a class “y” felony; possession with the intent to use drug paraphernalia with the intent to manufacture methamphetamine, a class “b“ felony; possession with the intent to use drug paraphernalia, a class “c” felony; possession of methamphetamine, a class “c” felony.

Wilson and Cooley remain in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $25,000 bond. Sheriff Tate Lawrence said the meth lab seizure and the charges were the result of a cooperative effort between the Izard County Sheriff’s Department and the 16th Judicial District Drug Task Force.

In an unrelated matter, Sheriff Tate Lawrence said that three males face felony theft of property charges and other miscellaneous charges as the result of stealing a four wheeler from the Guion area.

John William Moser, age 18 of Melbourne was arrested February 20 and charged with theft of property, possessing an instrument of crime, criminal trespass, underage DUI, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Arrested the same day was Joseph Edward Brown, age 20 also of Melbourne. Brown’s charges include theft of property, criminal trespass on land, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Patrick Russell McNealy, age 20 of Guion was arrested in conjunction with the same incident and charged with theft of property, criminal trespass on land, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Moser remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $14,325 bond while Brown and McNealy remain jailed on $12,415 bond each. Sheriff Lawrence said that the four wheeler had been recovered.

A Calico Rock man was arrested February 22 on charges of assault second degree, public intoxication, disorderly conduct, and domestic battering third degree. Sutterfiled posted bond the next day and was released from jail.

Meagan Marie Roche, age 20 of Hardy was arrested February 20 on a felony failure to appear warrant. Roche remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $10,000 bond.

Three Izard County inmates awaiting bed space in the Arkansas Department of Correction were transported to prison on Thursday and Friday. Transported were Clinton Earl Hutchison, age 41 of Jonesboro, Larry Joe Herring, age 32 of Horseshoe Bend, and Charles Russell Earle, age 58 of Horseshoe Bend.
