Following the dispatch of deputies to a residence in the Boswell area the night of February 28, James Campbell, age 56 of Newburg Road was arrested on domestic battery charges stemming from an incident that occurred earlier at the Newburg Road location. Campbell allegedly became involved in a dispute with his stepdaughter, according to Sheriff Tate Lawrence. Campbell was charged with domestic battering third degree and transported to the Izard County Detention Facility. Campbell appeared before Judge David Miller, given a court date and released.
Gregg William McNealy, age 43 of Guion was arrested March 1 on the charge of harassment following an incident with another individual in the town of Guion. McNealy posted bond the same day in the amount of $500, released from the Izard County Detention Facility and given a court date. Sheriff Lawrence said this is the second arrest for McNealy during the past couple of weeks.
Kristopher Lynn Engles, age 22 of Melbourne was arrested the morning of February 28 on the charge of domestic battering third degree. The arrest followed an incident with his wife who, according to Sheriff Lawrence had marks of physical injury to her body. Engles posted bond later that day in the amount of $1,000, given a court date, and released from the Izard County Detention Facility.
Robert Leroy Ayers, age 26 of Guion was arrested the afternoon of March 2 and charged with a protection order violation. Ayers appeared Thursday in Izard County District court where he was released and given a court date.
A Guion man, nineteen year old Jacob Matthew Garner was arrested the night of March 2 following a traffic stop on state highway 58. Garner was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving left of center, possession of drug paraphernalia, and refusal to submit to a chemical test. Garner posted bond the following day in the amount of $2,290 and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility.
IN another alcohol related arrest, Herschel Dale Ducker, age 54 of Melbourne was arrested February 28 on the charges of driving while intoxicated, careless and prohibited driving, and not wearing a seat belt. Ducker posted bond in the amount of $1,240 and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility the following day.
Bobby Ray Eddy, age 44 of Melbourne was arrested Thursday on the charge of driving on a suspended license. Eddy was later released and given a court date.
Geoffrey Leroy Erwin, age 44 of Franklin was arrested Friday on a failure to pay fines warrant. Erwin remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of a $2,245 cash bond.
An Oxford man, twenty four year old Thomas Michael Hayes was arrested Friday on a failure to pay fines warrant. Hayes remains in the Izard County Detention ;Facility in lieu of bond in the amount of $910.
A Calico Rock woman, nineteen year old Chelsey Rain Patterson was arrested Thursday night on warrant charging her with failure to pay fines. Patterson later posted a cash bond in the amount of $370 and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility.
Lynnda Dorothy Welter, age 66 of Cherokee Village was arrested Saturday night on violation of Arkansas hot check law warrant. Welter later posted bond and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility.
Lane Joseph White, age 53 of Calico Rock was arrested March 2 on a Baxter County misdemeanor warrant. White was released the day of his arrest after posting bond in the amount of $420.
Two Izard County Detention Facility inmates who were awaiting bed space in the Arkansas Department of Correction were transported March 1 to prison. Transported were Joshua Keith Ray, age 19 of Cherokee Village and Anthony Lee Martin, age 24 of West Plains, Missouri.
