Pamela Irene Teague, age 22 was arrested June 7 on a warrant accusing her of destroying several rural mail boxes in the Dolph area. According to Sheriff Tate Lawrence, the mail boxes were damaged on or about April 30, 2011 and the tire tracks near all the boxes were similar and similar to tread on the vehicle owned by the accused. A side mirror collected at the scene of one of the boxes matched the damage done to the Teague vehicle. Teague was released the following day after posting a cash bond in the amount of $250. Teague is scheduled to appear in Izard County District Court to answer to the five criminal mischief second degree charges, each a class “b’ misdemeanor. Sheriff Lawrence said he will be asking for restitution for the owners of the mail boxes.
In an unrelated matter, Izard County deputies responded to a call early Friday morning at an Oxford store regarding a physical altercation between two adult males. Arrested were Matthew A. Simons, age 31 of Oxford and Jason Lacade Ward, age 35 of Oxford. Each were charged with disorderly conduct and assault second degree. According to Sheriff Lawrence, interviews indicate this altercation was the second confrontation between the two as one had occurred the previous morning at about the same location. Simons and Ward were released Sunday after appearing before District Judge David E. Miller.
Jared Dewayne Rotrammel, age 35 of Calico Rock was arrested July 6 on a felony to appear warrant. Rotrammell is being held in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $10,000 cash bond and hold from the state of Oklahoma.
Jessica Lynn Northern, age 25 of Evening Shade was arrested July 5 on charges of domestic battering third degree and obstructing governmental operations. Northern posted bond the following day, was given a court date, and released from the Izard County Detention Facility.
Douglas Dale Needle, age 38 of Winfree Lane, Melbourne was arrested July 5 on the charge of domestic battering third degree. Needle posted bond July 7 in the amount of $1,000 and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility with a court date.
Terry Lynn Reed, a white female age 28 of Old Larkin Road near Melbourne was arrested around midnight July 6 on the charges of driving while intoxicated, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, careless and prohibited driving and possession of a controlled substance. Lynn posted bond the later that day in the amount of $2,615 and was released with a court date from the Izard County Detention Facility.
Bradley Wayne Welch, age 26 of Salem was arrested July 6 on failure to pay fines warrant. Welch appeared the day of his arrest before District Judge David Miller and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility with a court date.
