Michael Lee Stevens, age 19 of 9641 Arkansas Highway 9 South was arrested Friday on felony theft of property and breaking and entering charges. The charges stem from an alleged breaking into a semi trailer and theft in the Oxford area. Cody Tillman of Pine Bluff has an outstanding arrest warrant from the same incident. A male juvenile has already been arrested in this case. Stevens remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $10,000 bond and scheduled to appear in Izard County Circuit Court.
Bradley Don Skidmore, age 34 of Oxford was arrested Friday afternoon on charges of domestic battering third degree and possession of drug paraphernalia. According to Izard County Sheriff Tate Lawrence , deputies were called to a residence for a report of domestic battery and that Skidmore had fled the scene. The victim, Nicole Skidmore stated that Skidmore had struck her with a hard plastic cup while she was sleeping and later began throwing items about the room and began to assault her with a belt. She received strikes to both her forearms, upper left arm, left thigh and right hand. Mrs. Skidmore was provided medical attention by Vital Link Emergency Services but declined transport to a medical facility. After an unsuccessful lengthy search for Bradley Skidmore by Izard County authorities, the search was called off. Skidmore later turned himself into authorities and was jailed on the two charges. Skidmore was released from the jail the following day and given a court date.
Donald Jason Eheart, age 30 of Flippin was arrested Friday on a felony hot check warrant. Eheart remains in the Izard County Detention in lieu of $10,000 bond.
Nathan Gordon Lackey, age 31 of Mountain Home was arrested Thursday on a felony failure to appear warrant. Lackey remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $10,000 bond.
Kyle James Salamone, age 32 of Mammoth Spring was arrested December 14 on a parole/probation hold and remains in the Izard County Detention Facility on a “no bond” status.
The Izard County Sheriff’s Department received a late night call December 13 that a suspicious truck was in a vacant lot near the intersection of highways 58 and 69. Upon arrival, deputies observed a highway sign knocked down and ruts leading through a fence and into a field where the truck was observed and the driver, identified as forty one year old Rodney Shane Donahue, was unresponsive in the driver’s seat. According to Deputy Phil Story, after arousing Donahue, he smelled heavily of intoxicants and was unstable on his feet. Donahue was transported to a Batesville hospital where he was treated and released. Donahue was charged with driving while intoxicated with property damage and careless driving. Donahue of Melbourne appeared before District Judge David Miller, given a court date and released from the Izard County Detention Facility.
Charges are pending against a Mountain View male juvenile after deputies were called Friday to private property near Guion where a small pickup truck became stuck after causing damage to a field near the White River. The driver of the truck fled the scene after the truck became stuck. The truck was towed and impounded pending charges against the juvenile.
Faith Elizabeth Bess, age 32 of Flippin was arrested December 12 on a violation of Arkansas hot check law warrant. Bess posted bond December 15 in the amount of $100, given a court date, and released from the Izard County Detention Facility.
David Lathon Chilcutt, age 41 of Melbourne was arrested December 12 on violation of Arkansas hot check law warrant. Chilcutt was released the following day and given a date to appear in Izard County District Court.
Brandy Rochelle Hughes, age 22 of Mountain Home was arrested Friday on a failure to appear in court warrant. Hughes was released December 17 and given a court date.
A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Jeffery D. Hairrell, age 44 of Violet Hill for misdemeanor theft of property. Hairrell is accused to selling propane tanks belonging to Etta Smallwood of the same address. Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Hairrell is asked to contact the Izard County Sheriff’s Department.
Nacona Amber Kinkead, age 29 of Melbourne was arrested December 13 on a violation of Arkansas hot check law warrant. Kinkead posted bond the day of her arrest in the amount of $473 and was released with a court date from the Izard County Detention Facility.
