The morning of January 15th, Senior Deputy Gabe Sanders was dispatched to 725 Walter Hall Road in responded to a domestic disturbance between Michael Hilton and his girlfriend, Heather Parish. According to statements by the victim, Hilton became upset the previous night because Parish found Hilton’s pills and flushed the pills down the toilet. That Hilton left the house and came back the morning of the disturbance and started acting crazy and attempted to drag her down the hallway hitting her and kicking her in the stomach. According to Izard County Sheriff Tate Lawrence, Hilton, age 28 was arrested and charged with domestic battering third degree. While incarcerated Hilton destroyed jail property and was additionally charged with criminal mischief third degree. Hilton remains in the Izard County Detention Facility on a parole/probation hold.
In another domestic related matter, Deputy Phil Story was dispatched around 1:30 am on January 19th to the Dolph community to the residence of James and Pamela Teague. According to statements from Pamela Teague, when she came home she was asked to “ go to bed with James and when she refused to do so, James Teague began angry and began slapping her, pulling her hair, and slammed her into a counter top. Both had signs of physical injury. James Teague refused to give a written statement to the Deputy Story. Both were charged with domestic battering third degree and taken to the Izard County Detention Facility. Sheriff Lawrence said their children, present during the alleged incident were placed in the custody of grandparents. Both James, age 26 and Pamela Teague, age 23 were released the following day after appearing before Izard County District Judge David E. Miller.
Senior Deputy Gabe Sanders responded Sunday afternoon to a Knob Creek Road residence in answer to a domestic violence call. The incident involved a mother and a 17 year old daughter. It was reported that the juvenile had thrown a knife at her mother while they were discussing the daughter’s sexual involvement with a 24 year old male. The juvenile was arrested on domestic violence charges and transported to the White River Juvenile Detention Center in Batesville
Jeremy Lewis Gross, age 37 of Franklin was arrested the early evening of January 13th on charges of driving while intoxicated, driving with a suspended license, endangering the welfare of a minor, driving left of center, and violation of child protection laws. Gross was released late evening from the Izard County Detention and given a court date.
A Twin Creek Road man was charged January 14 for disorderly conduct following a call of a domestic disturbance. Timothy Allan Wortman, age 61 became t combative to officers who were investigating the compliant. Wortman posted bond the following day in the amount of $205 and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility.
A Calico Rock woman, twenty three year old April Edna Faye McDole was arrested January 14 on charges of driving on a suspended license, operating a vehicle without a license plate, and an outstanding warrant from Baxter County. McDole was released from the Izard County Detention Facility after posting a $560 bond. McDole was then picked up by Baxter County authorities.
Wendy Nicole Hazel, age 29 on Norfork was arrested January 16th on charges of driving on a suspended license, driving a vehicle without registration, and an outstanding warrant from Baxter County. Hazel was released from the Izard County Detention Facility after posting a $510 Izard County bond and a $760 Baxter County bond.
Shawn Annette Boody, age 42 of Mt. Pleasant was arrested January 17th on a Sharp County misdemeanor warrant and transferred to Sharp County.
Michael John Minard was arrested January 13th on a Izard County hot check warrant and an outstanding warrant from Baxter County. Minard posted bond- $561 for Izard County and $344 for Baxter County on January 17th and then released from the Izard County Detention Facility.
Carl Vannater, age 25 of Melbourne and Dustin Michael Baird of Melbourne were transported were transported January 17th and January 19th respectively to the Arkansas Department of Correction.
