A Searcy man was arrested Saturday on a warrant accusing him of entering a home at 4364 Highway 56, Brockwell and taking items from the home as well as taking items from tractor-trailer truck parked at the residence. Sheriff Tate Lawrence said items taken include a game player and several games, a compound bow, a super start pack with jumper cables, an air compressor, a small hydraulic jack and a GPS system. Most of the items were recovered from a Melbourne pawn shop. Brain Leroy Richards, age 30 is in the Izard County Detention Facility on charges of residential burglary, a class “B” felony; breaking and entering, a class “D” felony; and theft of property, a class “A” misdemeanor. Bond for Richards was set at $10,000 The report of an early evening altercation at a residence on West Road near Mt. Pleasant resulted in the arrest of two brothers who had come to residence of Toni Satterwhite to initiate a fight with her son, Josh Pickren. According to Sheriff Tate Lawrence, a feud had been brewing several days concerning money owed to Pickren and Jacob Hooper, age 29 and brother Jimmy Hopper, age 32 of Shaw Cemetery Road, Mt. Pleasant . It appeared no one sustained any physical injury during the May 6 altercation except for Pickren who would not provide a statement and declined to press charges. Pickren and a pregnant female who was apparently experiencing anxiety pains were transported by ambulance to a Batesville hospital. Toni Satterwhite, the owner of the residence did however wish to press charges and the Hooper brothers were arrested and charged with criminal trespass and taken to the Izard County Detention Facility. Both were released the following day and given a court. A Melbourne man, Stephen Mason Cagle, age 30 was arrested Monday, June 4 on charges of terrorist threatening third degree, drinking in public intoxication, criminal trespass, and failure to stop after an accident. Cagle was released from the Izard County Detention Facility and given a court date after appearing before District Judge Jim Short. Bradley Don Skidmore, age 34 of Brockwell was arrested June 6 on the charge of reckless driving. Skidmore was released from the Izard County Detention Facility the date of his arrest and given a court date by Izard County District Judge David E. Miller. Virginia Annette Diggs, age 50 of Calico Rock was arrested June 7 on violation of Arkansas hot check law warrant. Diggs was released the day of her arrest after posting a $417cash bond. Ricky Ray Lake, age 33 of Melbourne was arrested June 4 on a failure to appear warrant. Lake posed bond the following day in the amount of $460 , given a court date, and released from the Izard County Detention Facility. Ricky Landon Brown, age 55 of Pineville was arrested Friday on a failure to pay fines warrant. Brown remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of a $1,300 cash bond. Jackie Dean Campbell, Jr., age 37 of Franklin was arrested June 8 on a Horseshoe Bend warrant and remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $985 cash bond. Michael Allen Liscomb, age 30 of Melbourne was transported June 4to the Arkansas Department Correction as the result of a revocation of his parole/probation.
