Izard County Deputies responded Friday night to a residence on Larkin Road regarding a domestic disturbance. According to the parties involved, they were getting ready to go ride four wheelers with friends when Candice Bruyette began snapping her fingers in her husband’s face knowing that he suffered from nose bleed and continued to aggravate him. According to Ms. Bruyette, her husband Matthew Bruyette assaulted her and threw her on the bed.
Both Brunette’s, Candice, age 22, and Matthew, age 28 were charged with domestic battering third degree. Sheriff Tate Lawrence said both appeared before Judge David E. Miller the following day, were given a court date and a no contact order.
In an unrelated domestic situation, Deputy Achy Beebe responded to Barrow Road regarding a male who had fired gun. Upon arrival it was determined that Arthur Gordon Jackson, age 53 of 8409 Arkansas Highway 9 South and the female compliant had gotten into an argument over yard work and that it escalated to point that Jackson said he fired the revolver once in the air to release some frustrations. The compliant stated that a similar event happened about six weeks ago. The compliant stated that she feared for her safety. Jackson was arrested and charged with domestic battering third degree.
Sheriff Tate Lawrence said that Jackson remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of bond.
Ricky Lee Schiltz, age 50 of Sage was arrested August 8 on a probation/parole violation hold and remains in the Izard County Detention Facility.
Jeana Leann Dickerson, age 42 of Dolph was arrested August 8 on a Baxter County warrant and was later transported to Mountain Home.
Christa Rachelle Cherry, age 18 of Gepp was arrested Friday on a an Izard County failure to appear warrant. Cherry was released the following day after posting a $200 cash bond.
Stephen Shaw Pool, age 23 of Calico Rock was arrested Thursday a failure to appear warrant from Izard County. Pool appeared before District Judge David E. Miller, released and given an August 23 court date.
In another failure to appear arrest, Michael Joseph Jacob, age 45 of Melbourne was incarcerated Friday and appeared before District Judge David E. Miller the following day when he was released and given a court date.
Ashley Nicole Blalock, age 26 of Calico Rock was jailed August 6 on circuit court contempt charges after appearing in Izard County Circuit Court and testing positive for methamphetamine. Blalock’s bond was revoked and she was ordered to remain incarcerated until her next scheduled court date
Tammy Gail Robison, age 43 of Calico Rock was jailed August 6 after being sentenced in Izard County Circuit Court to three years in the Arkansas Department of Correction’s regional punishment facility. Sheriff Tate Lawrence said Robison will be transported to that facility when bed space becomes available.
Melissa Jean Casey, age 32 of Mountain View was jailed August 9 pending transfer to the department of correction’s regional punishment facility.
