Izard County deputies were dispatched to a Highland Street address in Calico Rock the night of November 6 in response to a domestic disturbance compliant. While enroute, the female complainant again called dispatch and stated that her father, Christopher Padelford had struck her in the face and then threw her to the floor causing injury and bruising to her knee and wrist. Sheriff Tate Lawrence said that Padleford, age 43 was jailed on domestic battering third degree charge and placed on parole/probation hold with a revocation pending.
In an unrelated matter, Jesse J. Cap, age 28 of Wiseman was arrested early evening of November 6 after a complaint was received that Cap was making threats to harm himself and others, and that he had an outstanding probation warrant. Prior to the arrival of Deputy Acy Beebe, Padleford had ran into the woods but later returned to residence. Cap was taken to the Izard County Detention Center on disorderly conduct charge where he was placed on a suicide watch until being transported to Pulaski County. Carl Vannatter, age 26 was jailed November 5 as ordered from drug court for failing to comply with requirements of that court. Vannatter was sentenced to 21 days of incarceration.
Carri Lee Sisk, age 24 of Mountain Home was arrested November 7 on an Izard County failure to fines warrant. Sisk remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $1,085 bond.
