Jack Albert Knight, Jr., age 50 of Brockwell was arrested January 17 on a warrant accusing Knight of theft of property, a class “c” felony and criminal mischief second degree a class “b” misdemeanor These charges stem from the night of January 7 when deputies were called to a wreck on Jacobs Lane in Melbourne and found that a truck registered to Knight had struck a tree. No one was around the truck and the next morning Dr. Brad Wheelis reported to the sheriff’s department that his farm truck was missing from his residence which is located a short distance from where the wreck occurred. Sheriff Tate Lawrence said that Wheelis’ truck was located on a farm owned by Knight. The criminal mischief charge relates to damage done to the truck. Knight posted bond the day of his arrest in the amount of $5,000 and was given a circuit court date.
Samantha Jane Padelford , age 25 of Calico Rock was arrested January 16 on charges of forgery second degree (three counts), all class “c” felonies. Padelford is accused of taking checks from her grandmother’s purse, forging her grandmother’s name and making purchases at Harp’s Grocery in Calico Rock. The check amounts were $90.45, $96.71, and $108.07, according to Sheriff Lawrence. When arrested Padelford tested positive for marijuana. Padelford remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $15,000 bond.
Stephen Shaw Pool, age 24 of Pineville was arrested January 19 on a Boone County warrant and a criminal investigatiion hold pending felony charges. Pool remains in the Izard County Detention Facility.
William G. Cleveland, age 58 of Calico Rock was arrested January 14 on an Izard County failure to pay fines warrant. Cleveland posted bond the day of his arrest and was released from jail.
Christine Lee Williamson, age 36 of Clarksville was arrested January 14 on a Conway Police Department warrant. Williamson was picked up from the Izard County Detention Facility by Conway authorities.
Edward Gene Foreman, age 75 of Mount Pleasant was arrested January 15 on the charge domestic battering third degree. The following day Foreman was transported to a medical facility in Batesville.
Wilburn Nathaniel Carter, age 19 of Dolph was arrested Sunday night on the charge of obstructing governmental operations. Carter remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $1,105 bond.
Matthew Dewayne Sutterfield, age 38 of Dolph was arrested Sunday night on the charge of public intoxication following a report that intoxicated male was at Harp’s Grocery in Calico Rock and that he urinated on a vending machine outside the store. Sutterfield remains in the Izard County Detetnion Facility.
Bobbi Jo Bookout;, age 45 of Pineville was jailed January 15 on an Izard County Drug court orders. Bookout remains in jail.
