A Calico Rock man who was earlier arrested on a department of correction absconder warrant was charged Friday with drug related and other offenses. Zachary Mayfield, age 33 of Thompson Road, Calico Rock was charged with possession of a controlled substance-methamphetamine, a class “d” felony; possession of drug paraphernalia, a class “d” felony; felon in possession of a firearm, a class “d” felony; and theft by receiving, a class “a” misdemeanor. Sheriff Tate Lawrence said that Mayfield remains in the Izard County Detention Facility on a $20,000 bond and a department of correction hold.
A Pineville pair who was released from jail Tuesday on a circuit court bond was arrested Thursday after appearing in Izard County District Court and testing positive for controlled substances. According to Sheriff Lawrence, Bobby Paul Gilley, age 25 and Stephenie Marie Richardson, age 28 remain in the Izard County Detention Facility on a bond revocation.
Kevin Massey, age 36 of Cherokee Village was arrested May 13 for violation of a protection order and harassing communications. Massey appeared in Izard County District Court on Thursday was given a court date and released on bond and a more restrictive protection order.
Marcel Vandenberg, age 47 of Evening Shade was arrested May 12 on charges of domestic battering third degree and endangering the welfare of a minor. Vandenberg was released May 14 with a court date. An order of protection was issued against Vandenberg.
Keith Lee Hendrix, age 28 of Calico Rock was arrested May 14 on a failure to appear warrant and for having no proof of insurance. Hendrix posted bond the day of his arrest in the amount of $500 and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility.
A Pineville man, Kevin Keith Chute, age 41 was arrested May 14 on a failure to pay fines warrant relating to an earlier conviction of possession of a controlled substance. Chute appeared in Izard County District Court on Thursday and was released.
Justin Farmer, age 19 of Sage was arrested Saturday early evening on the charge of domestic battering third degree. Sheriff Tate Lawrence said the female victim complained that Farmer had choked her, hit her in stomach and slammed her into the porch. Farmer was released the following day with a court date after appearing before District Judge David E. Miller.
Shelby Joe Roddy, age 22 of Mountain Home was arrested May 13 on a failure to pay fines warrant relating to an earlier conviction of criminal mischief. Roddy posted bond in the amount of $100 on Thursday and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility.
A Violet Hill man, thirty six year old Christopher Stone was arrested May 16 of a felony failure to appear warrant and remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $10,000 bond.
John Edward Rone, age 26 of Melbourne remains in the Izard County Detention Facility after being arrested May 16 on a parole/probation violation.
