Three people have been arrested in connection with the recent burglary of a home near Zion. Arrested Wednesday were William Joseph Carter, age 20 and his wife Lindsey Michelle Carter, age 19 , both of 129 Dixon Street in Melbourne; and Tanya Lynette Turner, age 43 who gave a 212 Spring Street, Calico Rock address. Lindsey Carter tested positive for methamphetamine at the time of her arrest. Sheriff Tate Lawrence said that formal felony charges are expected on Friday, May 24. Sheriff Lawrence also said his department was looking for other persons of interest relating to this crime and well as other theft related crimes in the area.
Jamie Nichole Loosey, age 25 of Calico Rock was picked up May 20 from an Oklahoma jail on an arrested warrant from Izard County. Lossey has been charged with felony possession of a defaced firearm and is on a no bond hold from Izard County Circuit Court.
Seth Aaron Faircloth, age 23 of Pleasant Hill, Missouri was arrested May 22 on the charge of possession of a controlled substance. Faircloth remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $1,230 bond.
Amber Dewaun Wilson, age 35 of Melbourne was arrested May 21 on the charge of driving on a suspended license. Wilson posted bond in the amount of $350 and was released with a court date from the Izard County Detention Facility.
Greg Dean Thornley, age 40 of Brockwell was arrested May 22 on a violation of Arkansas hot check law warrant. Thornley posted bond the day of his arrested in the amount of $329 and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility.
Brandon Michael Sutton, age 34 of Batesville was arrested May 23 on the charge of driving on a suspended license and an Independence County warrant. Sutton remains in the Izard County Detention Facility.
Joel Otis Hense, age 37 of Jacksonville was arrested Friday on a violation of Arkansas hot check law warrant and a warrant for failure to pay fines. Hense remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of bonds in the amounts of $1,098 and $1,178.
James Edward Filchak, age 39 of Oxford was May 20 on four Fulton County warrants and was released the following day after appearing before Judge Jim Short.
Ann Storm, age 43 of Salesville was arrested May 20 on a failure to pay fines warrant. Storm was released due to medical conditions the following day.
