A disturbance reported to the Izard County Sheriff Department the night of September 3 resulted in the arrested of 48 year-old Matthew Lee Morgan of Oxford. According to Sheriff Tate Lawrence, Morgan entered the Oxford convenience store highly intoxicated, got into an altercation with the store owner, and left before deputies arrived. Morgan was located and charged with battery third degree, public intoxication, and disorderly conduct. Morgan appeared before District Judge David E. Miller, issued a no contact order, and given a November 12 court date.
In another battery arrest, Mark Killian Sexton of Pineville was arrested the evening of September 4. A 911 call to the sheriff’s office by a female complainant stated that she had been assaulted by Sexton and that he had threatened to use a knife that he had on him. . Sexton according to Sheriff Lawrence had left the residence and ran into the nearby woods but later returned and was located in the carport area of the house. Sexton smelled heavily of intoxicants and was highly under the influence of alcohol. . Sexton and was placed under arrest for domestic battering third degree and transported to the Izard County Detention Facility where remained until appearing before District Judge David E. Miller, issued a no contact order and given a court date.
Trystin Robert Howell, age 24 of Horseshoe Bend was arrested September 2 on charges of domestic battering third degree and disorderly conduct following a report that Howell was involved in a physical altercation with a female. The case remains under investigation pending a written statement from the complainant.
Deputies were dispatched #59 state highway 56 where the alleged aggressor toward two family members, James Patscheck along with his father, Jerry Patcheck were in a vehicle preparing to leave the residence. While interviewing the Patchecks’, the female victim approached Deputy Phil Story and stated that her boyfriend James and his father had been drinking all day while she was at work. She said that when she returned from work she asks them both to leave and that James was attempting to enter the residence by using force and shoved her out of way and then took her twelve year old daughter to the ground. James Patcheck was charged with endangering the welfare of a minor and two counts of assault on a household member. Patrick remains in the Izard County Detention Facility.
Lisa Marie Harshaw, age 37 of Oxford was arrested Friday on a probation/parole violation and failure to pay fines. Harshaw remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of a cash bond in the amount of $3,095. This all stems from an initial conviction of theft of services and theft by receiving.
Randell Keith Kurtley, age 44 of Melbourne was arrested Friday on the charged of driving on a suspended license. Kurtley posted bond the day of his arrest in the amount of $350, was released with an October 10 court date.
Steven Michael Feazell, age 39 of Mountain Home was arrested September 3 on a Baxter County failure to appear warrant. Feazell was transported to Baxter County on Thursday.
Jody Ray Miller, age 23 of North Little Rock was arrested September 3 on warrants of failure to appear and failure to pay fines. Miller was released Thursday and given a court date.
Ricky Ray Lake, age 34 of Melbourne was jailed September 4 on bail surrender violation and remains in the Izard County Detention Facility.
Bobby Ray Eddy, age 46 of Horseshoe Bend was arrested September 3 on a failure to appear warrant. Eddy appeared the following before District Judge David E. Miller, was released and given a court date.
A North Little Rock man was arrested September 3 on warrants of failure to appear- two counts and failure to pay fines. Jody Ray Miller, age 23 remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of a $6,922 bond.
Mitcheal Lee Smith, age 41 of Flippin was arrested September 2 on a failure to appear warrant. Smith was released for medical reasons the day of his arrest and given a court date.
Carol Lee Berman, age 49 of Franklin was admitted to the Izard County Detention Facility on Saturday to serve an Izard County District Court sentence of 25 days confinement.
