Following an incident near Violet Hill around midnight Tuesday, September 17, Tim Reeves was arrested on multiple charges. Reeves, age 49 of Mt. Pleasant was charged with terroristic threatening, carrying a weapon, criminal trespass, public intoxication, and resisting arrest. Deputies were dispatched to Chapel Hill Road and discovered a car in the driveway with the motor running and headlights on. When the vehicle was approached, Reeves had a 9 millimeter fully loaded and chambered pistol in his pocket. Reeves was taken to ground after he refused commands from the deputies and placed in hand restraints. The incident was likely started as the result of dispute over a dog, according to Izard County Sheriff Tate Lawrence. Reeves appeared before Judge Jim Short the following day, was issued a no contact order, a given a court date.
At the request of the U.S. Marshall Service, Izard County deputies located and arrested Kevin Monroe Hutson, age 32 of Melbourne on Friday. . Sheriff Lawrence said Hutson was located on Spring Street in Melbourne underneath a bed at a residence occupied by Tanya Turner and Ricky Lake. Hutson was transferred to Independence County on Saturday.
Dora Jean Hendrickson, age 35 was arrested in Calico Rock on Saturday and placed in protective custody for a mental evaluation.
Steven Parker, age 25 of Black Rock was arrested Friday on an Izard County failure to pay fines warrant. Parker remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of a $1,065 cash bond.
Tanya Turner, age 43, of Melbourne was arrested Thursday on 16 warrants out of Sherwood. Twelve of the warrants were for hot checks, two for failure to appear, and two for contempt of court. Sheriff Lawrence said that Turner also has outstanding hot check warrants from Faulkner County, Lonoke County, and Cabot. The Sherwood Police Department transported Turner to the Pulaski County Jail the day of her arrest.
Patrick McNealy, age 23 of Melbourne was committed to the Izard County Detention Facility on September 16 for failing to comply with drug court requirements. Sheriff Lawrence said that it is likely that McNealy will serve in the Arkansas Department of Correction for a 270 day period.
Dennis Paul Lawton, age 48 of Jordan who earlier made bond from Izard County Circuit Court with the provisions that he be frequently drug tested was jailed September 17 after reporting for the required test. Lawton tested positive for Oxycodone and will be held until the October court date.
Phillip Randall Bartlett was arrested Saturday on felony contempt of court charges. The twenty five year old from Yellville remains in the Izard County Detention Facility.
Christina E. Williams, age 21 of Mountain Home was arrested September 17 on an Izard County District Court failure to pay fines warrant. Williams remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in Lieu of a $2,000 cash bond and hold from another county.
Clayton Allen Lynch, age 25 of Melbourne was transferred Friday to a drug treatment facility from the Izard/ Fulton County Drug Court after being in the izard County Detention Facility since mid-July 2013.
