WOMACK CHARGED WITH RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY AND OTHER CHARGES

Ronnie Hayden Womack, age 52 of Melbourne was arrested October 30 and placed on an investigative hold with formal charges pending relating to the breaking and entering of a neighbor’s home. Guns, a lawnmower, and knives were taken from the home.  Sheriff Lawrence said that Womack was later formally charged with residential burglary, a class “b” felony; possession of a firearm by a felon, a class “d” felony; theft of property a class “d” felony; and theft of property, a class “a” misdemeanor. Womack remains in the Izard County Detention Facility.

Ricky Dale Dowdle, age 58 of Melbourne was released from the Izard County Detention Facility on October 28 after posting bond on several charges. Dowdle was arrested March 25 and for driving while intoxicated, driving on a suspended license, and refusing to submit to a chemical test. October 28 Dowdle was additional charged with possession of methamphetamine, a class “d” felony; possession of drug paraphernalia to ingest methamphetamine, class “d” felony; and possession of marijuana, a class “a” misdemeanor. Dowdle’s initial circuit court date is November 4, 2013.

Late Saturday night and early Sunday morning three individuals were arrested, two on numerous charges and all three placed on a drug task force investigative hold. Ron Edward Ferguson, age 59 was charged with driving while intoxicated, operating motor vehicle without insurance, possession of a controlled substance, and refusal to submit to a chemical test. Donita Lynn Mason, age 50 of Batesville was charged with driving while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle without insurance and Mason’s passenger, Mark Allen Rogers, age 35 of Batesville , and the two others remain in the Izard County Detention Facility on an investigative hold.

Billy Dewayne Turner, age 42 of Melbourne was arrested Friday on the charge of driving while intoxicated and refusing to submit to a chemical test. Turner made bond provisions the following day and was released.  An occupant in Turner’s vehicle, Joshua Sanders, age 38 of Dolph was arrested on a hot check warrant. Sanders posted bond the day of his arrest in the amount of $349 and was released.

William Shawn Keasler, age 39 of Horseshoe Bend was arrested October 31 on an Independence County child support enforcement warrant. Deputy Mike Smith transported Keasler to the Izard County Detention Facility where was picked by Independence County authorities.

Amanda Rae Powers of Horseshoe Bend was arrested October 30 on the charge of theft of services. Deputy Dennis Hutchins said the Powers was unlawfully obtaining water from the city of Horseshoe Bend. Powers posted bond the day of her arrest in the amount of $505 and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility.

Jack Anthony Ludlow, Jr., age 50 of Batesville was arrested October 29 on five hot checks warrants. Ludlow appeared before District Judge David E. Miller and was given a November 14 court date and released from the Izard County Detention Facility.

Simon Keith Duckier, age 34 of Pineville was arrested early morning October 2   after another Pineville resident complained that Ducker was attending a party the complainant’s house and after a while started causing problems. Ducker was outside the residence when Deputy Richard Williams arrived on scene. Ducker was charged with public intoxication and remains in the Izard County Detention Facility.

Around 4 a.m. on Monday Gregory Scott Bolin, age 43 of Batesville was arrested on a failure to appear warrant and Franklin Winfrey, age and address unknown was arrested on a Sharp County warrant. Winfrey was transported to Ash Flat by Sharp County authorities while Bolin remains in the Izard County Detention in lieu of bond in the amount of $325. Both were arrested at the Melbourne Motel.

Laura Chantelle Germanx, age 26 of Horseshoe Bend was arrested October30 on a Fulton County failure to appear warrant.  Germanx was released by Fulton County authorities and given a court date.

Steve Martin Brewer, age 44 of Salem was arrested October 31 on a probation/parole violation and is in the Izard County Detention Facility pending revocation and transfer to an Arkansas Department of Correction Facility.

Chasity Dawn Fader, age 37 of Las Vegas, Arizona was arrested October 28  a circuit court contempt warrant ,a Horseshoe Bend failure to pay fines warrant, and an Izard County failure to pay fines warrant. Fader is being held in the Izard County Dentation Facility on bond amounts totaling $5496.

Elizabeth Marie Sanders, age 24 of Elizabeth was arrested on October 31 on a Baxter County Violation of Arkansas hot check law warrant. Sanders posted bond in the amount of $328 and was released.

Samantha Padelford, age 26 of Calico Rock was jailed October 28 to serve a two day sentence for a drug court infraction.
