Alisha Marie Nelson, age 32 of Jacob’s Lane in Melbourne was arrested January 29 on a theft of property charge. According to Sheriff Tate Lawrence, Nelson earlier wrote a check for goods and service to Red Mule in Melbourne. The check was drawn on an account of Loren Nelson and Alisha Nelson Frist National Bank of Izard County. The account had been closed. Sgt. J.T. Baker was the investigating officer. Nelson appeared before District Judge David E. Miller, given a court date, and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility.
Tara Michelle Foster, age 38 of Oxford was arrested February 1 on the charge of domestic battering third degree. The complainant stated that Foster was out of control, cursing, screaming and had struck her 16 year-old daughter. The daughter had scratches on her arm and confirmed that Foster had indeed hit her. The argument and fight was apparently the result of the daughter having spent the previous night with her boyfriend. Sheriff Lawrence said that Foster remains in the Izard County Detention Facility on a no-bond status until such time she appears before District Judge Miller. Sgt. Gabe Sanders was the arresting officer.
Deputy Phil Story was dispatched January 28 to a residence in Wideman. The female victim stated that Timothy Copes, age 33 had pushed her to the ground and that he was very delusional. Assisting deputy, Corporal Acy Beebe observed Copes talking to an electric heater saying he was talking to God. Copes was charged with domestic battering, was placed in the Izard County Detention Facility where he awaits a mental evaluation.
Marty Grant Sexton, age 37 was arrested the night of January 30 at the Snappy Mart in Calico Rock on the charge of public intoxication. Sexton tested negative for any illegal substance. Sexton was released Saturday and given a court date after posting bond in the amount of $205.
Kristen Lyn Jones, age 29 of Violet Hill was arrested January 27 on the charge of domestic battering third degree. According to the complainant, Jones had punched through the glass door of their residence cutting her arm badly. Complainant stated further that Jones had threatening to kill herself. Jones posted bond and was released.
Ramona Lynn Taylor, age 45 of Flippin was arrested around midnight on January 30 on a Baxter County warrant. Baxter County authorities picked up Taylor the following day and transport her to Mtn. Home.
Carrie Lee Sisk, age 25, address unavailable, was arrested January 26 on two failure to appear warrants out of Izard County and warrants out of Mountain Home and Marion County. Sisk posted bond and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility.
Christopher James Harp, age 56 of Bakersfield, California was arrested January 31 on a Stone County failure to appear warrant and was picked up by Stone County authorities the day of his arrest.
Keith Allen Richardson, age 24 of Batesville was arrested January 30 by Sgt. Gabe Sanders on a failure to appear warrant following an earlier arrested for theft of property. Richardson remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $1,000.
Brian Scott Wilson, age 33 of Batesville was arrested January 25 on a failure to appear warrant. Wilson posted bond the following day in the amount of $250 and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility with a court date.
Jolynn Mandel, age 29 of Calico Rock was arrested January 31 on a child support enforcement warrant and a department of community correction hold. Mandel remains in the Izard County in lieu of $5,696 bond.
Clayton Lynch, age 26 of Melbourne was arrested February 1 on violation of parole/probation and is being held in the Izard County Detention Facility on a no-bond status.
Donnie Ray Woodcock, age 33 of Calico Rock was arrested February 2 on the charge of disorderly conduct and is being held on an Izard County criminal investigative hold and a hold from Baxter. Woodcock is currently on a no-bond status.
James Ray Flanery, age 48 of Mt. View was arrested January 28 after caught on a camera trespassing on vacation property near Sylamore. According to the property owner, Flanery has trespassed on this property several times during the past. Flanery appeared before District Judge David E. Miller and released Flanery with a court date.
