Upon Zachary Mayfield’s release from the Arkansas Department of Correction on Friday, Reserve Deputy Jeff Sanders picked him up to answer charges of possession of a controlled substance, -meth, and possession of drug paraphernalia for the purpose to ingest meth, possession of a fire arm by a convicted felon, and theft by receiving. Sheriff Tate Lawrence said that Mayfield, age 34 of Calico Rock posted a $20,000 cash bond the day of his arrest, given a court date, and released.
Christopher Vance Teagarden, age 48 of Dolph was arrested Friday on the charges of operating a motor vehicle without insurance, fictitious auto plates, and driving on a suspended license. Teagarden posted a bond in the amount of $1,310 the day of his arrest, given a court date, and released.
Dora Jean Hendrickson, age 26 of Calico Rock was arrested Friday on disorderly conduct charges and is being held in the Izard County Detention Facility pending a mental evaluation.
Sunday night it was reported to the Izard County Sheriff’s Department that a child had been kidnapped from the child's mother at the Home Town Market parking lot. A vehicle was stopped in Batesville and it was determined that the child was in the vehicle with the father. Further investigation revealed that neither the father nor the mother had custody papers of the child. No arrest was made.
