Christopher John Frey, age 20, address not provided was arrested February 27 by Sgt. Gabe Sanders on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Frey remains in the Izard County Detention Facility on a no bond status.
In another drug related matter, Ricky Shelton Dowdle, age 58 of Locus Street in Melbourne was arrested for violating conditions of bond for the second time relating to an erlier drug arrest.. As a condition of his bond, Dowdle was required to report to the Izard County Sheriff for periodic drug tests. Dowdle reported and tested positive for marijuana. Dowdle alleged that his stomach medication caused the test to show positive for marijuana and sought permission from Izard County Circuit Court to take a blood test. Dowdle was released to seek such test but after several days failed to submit the results of that test. Dowdle was then again arrested and again tested at which time he tested positive for marijuana. Dowdle will remain in the Izard County Detention Facility until the next scheduled Circuit Court date.
Dustin Baird, age 33 of Melbourne was arrested February 26 on charges of terroristic threatening second degree and harassing communications. Baird appeared before District Judge David E. Miller the following day and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility with a court date.
Laura Chantelle Germeaux, age 26 of Horseshoe Bend was arrested February 24 by Deputy Doyle Cross on the charge of domestic battering third degree. The charges were brought against Germeaux after Sgt. Gabe Sanders and Deputy Doyle Cross responded to a residence on Bend Circle in Horseshoe Bend in response to compliant from Germeaux’s mother. The mother stated that when she came home from work her daughter had been drinking and when confronted the daughter began throwing stuff around and had broken things in the mother’s house. Appearing before District Judge David E. Miller on February 27, Germeaux was released from the Izard County Detention Facility with a court date.
A hot check warrant resulted in the February 25 arrest of Amanda Lynn Johns. Johns posted bond the day of her arrest in the amount of $340, was released and given an Izard County District Court date.
Deputy Carl Russell arrested Jennifer Billingsley, age 31 of Pineville on the charge of driving on a suspended license. Billingsley was released the day of her arrested, February 24, and given a court date.
Bobbi Jo Bookout, age 46 of Pineville was committed to the Izard County Detention Facility on February 27 for violating conditions of Izard County Drug Court. Bookout will be held until the next scheduled drug court date.
Harold Climer, age 48 of Little Rock was arrested February 26 on a Horseshoe Bend failure to appear warrant. Climer appeared before District Judge David E. Miller the following day, was released, and given a court date.
Jody Ray Mller, II, age 23 of North Little Rock was arrested February 27 on a failure to appear warrant and remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $3,700 cash bond.
Juston Ashburn, age 24 of Forrest City was arrested February 26 on a failure to appear warrant on original charges of driving while intoxicated, possession of a controlled substance, and driving on a suspended license. Ashburn posted a $2,500 cash bond the day after his arrest, given a court date, and released from the Izard County Detention Facility.
Joseph Boyd Cheek, age 51 of Calico Rock was arrested March 1 on a Baxter County violation of Arkansas hot check law warrant. Cheek posted an $813 bond the day of his arrest, given a court date, and released from jail.
Elizabeth Ann Cooper, age 45 of Melbourne was arrested February 24 on a hot check warrant. Cooper was released the day of her arrest and given a court date.
