A Hot Springs man was arrested Friday after threatening property and bodily harm to a Calico Rock female. The complainant stated that she had received threatening text messages from her ex-boyfriend. A few hours later she reported that the ex-boyfriend was at her house. Sgt. Gabe Sanders responded and arrested Dustin Taylor Birchett, age 18 with terroristic threatening first degree. Birchett posted a $250 cash bond, given a court date of May 1, and released from the Izard County Detention Facility.
Nathan Hughes, Sr., age 47 and son Nathan Hughes, Jr., age 25, both of Moser Street Apartments in Melbourne were arrested following an altercation at their residence on March 10. Deputy Phil Story charged the pair with domestic battering third degree, disorderly conduct, and public intoxication. Both remain in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of bond.
A Horseshoe Bend man, forty year old Douglas Dale Needle was arrested March 10 on the charge of domestic battering third degree. The charge stems FROM Deputy Mike Smith being dispatched to 101 Pleasant Point in Horseshoe Bend and it was determined that Needle and his girlfriend had gotten into an argument that escalated into a physical altercation. Needle appeared before District Judge David Miller, given a court date and released from the Izard Detention Facility.
A traffic stop the night of March 12 by Sgt. Acy Beebe resulted in multiple charges for the driver. Isaias Esperiacueta, age 30 was charged with possession of a controlled substance-marijuana, no child safety restraints, no driver’s license, and theft by receiving. The theft charge was the result of Esperiacueta having a Taurus 9 millimeter hand gun that was determined to be stolen. As an illegal alien, Esperiacuteta remains in the Izard County Detention Facility on a U.S. Marshal Service hold.
Timothy Santeno Galeotti, Jr., age 44 of Franklin was arrested March 10 at Moser Street Apartments in Melbourne after it was reported that an assault was in progress involving Galeotti and his underage son or stepson. Galeotti is accused of head banging the son and choking him. Charged with third degree assault on a family member, Galeotti has been released to a rehab facility in Searcy with a continued hold by the Izard County Sheriff’s Department.
Trystin Robert, Howell, age 25 of Horseshoe Bend was arrested March 10 on a failure to appear warrant and two failure to pay fines warrants. Following an altercation in the Izard County Detention Facility, Howell required medical attention for injuries he received and was released for medical reasons with a court date.
Tara Breanna Smith, age 22 of Pleasant Plains was arrested the night of March 11 on the charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. Smith posted bond the following day in the amount of $1,105, given a court date, and released from the Izard County Detention Facility.
Rachel Lynn Partee, age 30, believed to be from Oxford, was arrested March 13 after she attempted to enter the residence of another. Partee was charged with criminal trespass, disorderly conduct, and public intoxication. Partee was transferred to Baxter County where she also faces charges and was given a May 1 Izard County Court date.
Deputies Phil Story and Doyle Cross responded Monday night to a Violet Hill residence following a compliant that a female had been assaulted and that a gun was pulled on her. Lataeesha Marietta reported that she was invited to the house of David Hennigan, that he became irate over a cell phone, that he grabbed her, hit her and that he grabbed a gun and threatened to kill her. Afterwards, Hennigan reportedly told her they were going to have sex and everything would be ok. A short time later, Hennigan’s wife came home and advised the complainant to go outside. Hennigan was charged with aggravated assault and terroristic threatening.
Charmaine Butgereit, age 49 of Horseshoe Bend was arrested March 10 on a Baxter County warrant and was later transported to Mountain Home.
Brendon George Labor, age 43 of Horseshoe Bend was arrested Saturday on a probation/parole violation and remains in the Izard County Detention without bond.
A Newport man, forty year old Monty Shane Hembrey was arrested Friday on a failure to pay fines warrant. Hembrey appeared before District Judge David E. Miller and was released on Saturday.
Danny Aubrey Sturgis, age 58 of Fayetteville was arrested March 10 on a Baxter County failure to appear warrant and was transported to Mountain Home.
