PREVIOUS EMPLOYEE CHARGED IN BUSINESS THEFT

 

A previous employee of Crown Point Resort in Horseshoe Bend was arrested early Saturday morning, May 3 after it was determined that he entered the business  and had removed items from the business.  The items consisted mostly of paperwork and laptop case. Sheriff Tate Lawrence said that appeared that Stephen A. Kirk, age 60 of Horseshoe Bend was mostly interested in obtaining information from the files. Kirk was charged with commercial burglary, a class “c” felony; two counts of theft of property, class “d” felony; and theft of property, class “a” misdemeanor. Deputy Mike Smith was the investigating and arresting officer. Kirk posted a $5,000 bond, given a court date, and released.

David Calvin Benge, age 56 of Pineville was arrested April 26 on possession of a controlled substance, driving while intoxicated, no insurance, and refusal to submit to a chemical tests. Benge posted a $1,500 April 28, given a court date, and released.

Shannon David Edwards, age 35 of Dry Hollow Road near Oxford was arrested the night of May 3 following a report that he had attacked his girlfriend and bumped her several times with a vehicle as she was walking down a gravel road. Edwards was charged with two counts of domestic battery, theft of property, and criminal mischief. He remains in the Izard County Detention Facility on a parole/probation hold.

Ben Fitzsimmons, age 22 of Cave City was arrested Pioneer Day on warrant accusing him of criminal contempt of court and two counts of failing to pay fines. Fitzsimmons remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $6,960 bond.

Timothy Jay Clary, Jr., age 30 with a last known address of Pepper Sauce Ally in Calico Rock was arrested May 7 on the charges of possessing an instrument of crime and public intoxication. Clary remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $1,310 bond.

Kenton Max Johnson, age 51 of Pineville was arrested May 7 on a failure to pay fines warrant and a hold by   Baxter County.

Robert Levis, age 47 of Jonesboro was charged with  felony theft property as the result of purchasing building material from Melbourne business and writing a check on a closed account. Sheriff Lawrence said it was his understanding that Levis is on probation/parole as the result of previous similar actions. Levis posted a cash bond in the amount of $2,000 a given a court date.

Anthony Lee Abbott, age 48 of Horseshoe Bend was charged May 8 with theft of services. It is alleged that Abbott improperly obtained service from the city water department. Abbott remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $200 cash bond.

Garrett Seth Dockins, age 21 of Brockwell was arrested April 28 on a violation of Aransas hot check law. Dockins posted $400 cash bond the day of his arrest and given a court date.

David Lee Porter, age 43 of Calico Rock was arrested April 28 on a violation of Arkansas hot check law. Porter posted a cash bond in the amount of $375 and given a court date.

Jonathan Isaacs, age 30 of Vilonia was arrested May 4 on the charge of driving while intoxicated first offense. Deputy Richard Williams was the arresting office. Isaacs posted a $1,000 bond the following day.

Nacona Amber Kinkead, age 31 of Melbourne was arrested April 3 on a battery charged after she go into a dispute with her employee involving her work schedule. Kinkead appeared before District Judge David E. Mille the following day, released and given a court date.

Dana E. Roush, age 36 of Calico Rock was arrested May 7 on charges of obstructing governmental operations and no drivers, license. Rouse remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $1,460 bond.

Matthew Open Ivy, age 50 of North Little Rock was arrested May 7 on a failure to pay fines warrant. Ivy remains incarcerated in lieu of $1,842 bond.

Amy Lynn Smith, age 20 of Salem was arrested May 7 on a felony failure to appear warrant. Smith remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $10,000 cash bond.

Michael Lee Smith, age 41 of Flippin was arrested May 7 on warrant of failure to play fines and failure to appear. Smith remains in jail lieu of $200 cash bond.

Jennifer Denise Raub, age 40 of Brockwell was arrested April 25 on a failure to pay fines warrant. Raub appeared before District Judge David E. Miller, issued a court date and released.

Michael Joseph Jacob, age 46, address unavailable, was arrested Aril 30 on failure to appear warrant. Jacob posted a cash bond in the amount of $500 and was released.

Rebecca Wray, age 28 of Oxford was arrested May 3 on a Sharp County warrant and transferred to Ash Flat.

Steve Edward Walde, age 53 of Pineville was arrested April 29 on a failure to pay fines warrant. Walde posted a$100 bond and was released.

Steve Brewer, age 44 of Calico Rock was arrested April 30 on a probation violation and remains in jail on a no bond status.

Hugh James Stiles, age 40 of Mount Pleasant was arrested April 29 on a failure to pay fines warrant. Stiles posted a $445 cash bond the day of his arrest and was released.
