Sarah Elizabeth Taylor, age 32 of Calico Rock was arrested and charged May 22 with two counts of theft of property. Sheriff Tate Lawrence said that Taylor, an employee at a Calico Rock business is accused of taking $100 from the purse of another employee. One week later, Taylor was accused of taking money in the amount of $18 from yet another coworker. Taylor was released from the Izard County Detention Facility the day of her arrest after posting a $500 bond. Taylor is scheduled to appear in court June 12.
Shona Marie Crouch, age 35 of Melbourne was arrested May 22 on charges of domestic battery third degree, endangering the welfare of a minor, terroristic threatening, and disorderly conduct. An argument and an altercation took place at apartments located across the street from Hometown Market in Melbourne and involved Crouch’s ex-husband and his girlfriend. Crouch is accused of chasing the girlfriend and hitting and scratching her ex-husband. When arrested, Crouch began yelling and said that she would not submit to arrest. Crouch continue yelling when placed in the patrol vehicle and began slamming her head into a window of the vehicle. A small child was present during the episode. Crouch remains in the Izard County Detention Facility pending a bond hearing.
Debra May Craig, age 50 of Wideman was arrested the night of May 19 on the charge of driving while intoxicated. Craig posted a $1020 cash bond the following day, released from the Izard County Detention Facility, and given a June 12 court date.
Kirk Alan Hutchinson, age 48 of Melbourne was jailed May 22 and is being held on an Arkansas Department of Correction hold.
Montgomery Alexander Rice, age 26 of Brockwell was jailed May 19 and sentenced to the Arkansas Department of Correction after failing provisions of Izard County Drug Court. Rice will be transported when prison bed space becomes available.
A Pineville man, twenty three year old Timothy Stetka, was arrested the night of May 19 on charges of public intoxication, terroristic threatening second degree, and battery third degree. Deputies were dispatched on a fight in progress in Pineville between Stetka and another man. Stetka is alleged to have thrown a machete at the other man, attempted to run over the man with a vehicle before attempting to leave the scene before his vehicle was blocked in by a patrol vehicle. Stetka is being held in the Izard County Detention Facility pending a bond hearing.
Around 3:30 a.m., May 20, deputies were dispatched to the King Park area in Calico in response to a compliant of a suspicious white male. Deputies located the man near the high school and was identified as Randy Johnson, age 30 of Little Rock. Johnson appeared to be confused and questioned said that he came from the Veterans Hospital in Little Rock in his pickup truck. The truck was located inside the rodeo area where it was stuck in the mud. Johnson said he didn’t know why he drove the truck inside the arena. Johnson was charged with public intoxication-drugs and criminal trespass. Johnson posted a $410 bond the following day and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility with a June12 court date.
In Izard County Circuit Court on May 20 several were jailed on contempt of court charges, mainly stemming from testing positive for controlled substances. Michael Horton, age 23 of Oxford; Noel James Loosey, age 50 of Calico Rock; Codi Elizabeth Schales, age 21 of Horseshoe Bend remain in the Izard County Detention Facility until the next scheduled circuit court date. Eddie Winders, age 59 of Calico Rock was released the following day after paying a $2,500 fine.
Cody Lee Stacy, age 38 of Dolph was arrested May 21 on a failure to pay fines warrant. Stacy was allowed to post bond in the amount of $100, given a court date, and released from the Izard County Detention Facility.
Keith Allen Richardson, age 24 of Batesville was arrested May 24 for theft of property and breaking and entering. Richardson is accused of taking property from a Newburg Road residence. Richardson remains in the Izard County Detention Facility pending a bond hearing.
Brandon J. Adams, age 32 of Willow Springs, Missouri was arrested May 23 on the charge of public intoxication. Adams posted a cash bond in the amount of $205 the following day and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility with a July 10 court date.
Skylar D. Smith, age 19 of Horseshoe Bend was arrested May 24 for possession of drug paraphernalia and failing to register a vehicle. Smith remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of bond.
Sarah C. Bentley, age 28 of Bakersfield, Missouri was arrested May 23 for driving while intoxicated-drugs, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of an instrument of crime. Bentley posted bond the following day in the amount of $3,335, given a July 10 court date, and released from the Izard County Detention Facility.
Charles Anthony Clements, age 30 of Horseshoe Bend was arrested May 24 following an altercation with his brother at a residence in Horseshoe Bend. Clements was released for medical reasons, issued a no contact order, and given a court date.
Harold Eugene Climer, age 49 of Little Rock was arrested May 23 on a failure to appear warrant and remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $1,025 bond.
Jennifer Lindsey Burke, age 20 of Batesville was arrested May 24 on a failure to pay fines warrant. Burke remains in the Izard County Detention in lieu of $850 cash bond.
Prison bed space became available for two Izard County inmates. Stephen Shaw Pool, age 24 of Pineville and Jamey Carroll Dockins, age 35 of Oxford were transported May 23 to the Arkansas Department of Correction.
