An earlier morning report June 6 to the Izard County Sheriff’s Department that a body was observed floating down White River near Jenkins’ Boat Dock resulted in the dispatch to deputies to that location. The body of Donnie Ray Woodcock was recovered by Sgt. Gabe Sanders and Lt. Charles Melton. Coroner Eddie Howard arrived later and pronounced Woodcock dead. Sheriff Tate Lawrence said that Woodcock’s body was released to the Arkansas Crime Laboratory for a cause of death determination. Upstream about one quarter mile, on a big rock in the river, there was evidence that someone had been camping and there were several items to include trash , beer cans, and a partially burned out fire.
Around noon June 6, Corporal Mark Simino was dispatched to a Harris Street residence in Pineville in response to a compliant of an assault. The female complainant said that her live-in boyfriend, Randy Hiles, during a verbal confrontation pushed her, grasped her lower throat, pushed her up against the refrigerator and told her that he was going to kill her. The victim had redness of skin about the front of her neck and throat and minor skin abrasions on her right leg. Hiles, age, age 37 of 364 Harris Street in Pineville was charged with domestic battery third degree.
In another domestic battery situation on June 3, several people were arrested following a report that Dylan Sanders had attacked Solar Stowers and had pushed his sister, Jordan Sanders. against the wall. Deputy Phil Story reported there was a great deal of blood on the floor of the Melbourne apartment and that Jordan Sanders had blood on her feet and legs. Solar Stowers had visible injuries but refused medical transport. While accessing the scene, several cans of beer were present and three minors at the location admitted to drinking. Dylan Sanders, age 22 of Pineville was charged with battery third degree for striking Stowers and causing injury and was additional charged with public intoxication. Sanders was also charged with domestic battery third degree for striking his sister, Jordan Sanders. Jordan Sanders, age 25of Melbourne was charged with three counts of social host violation for providing beer to underage guests. Nicole Vines, age 20 and Audrey Howard, age 18 were charged with public intoxication. Solar Stowers, age 19 of Dolph was charged with public intoxication.
A dispatch afternoon of May 30 to the J Bar J area in response to a vehicle in the middle of the road with the driver passed out resulted in the DWI arrest of Haans Christopher Harris, age 37 of Violet Hill was charged with after a breath alcohol test revealed .15 alcohol presence against a threshold of .08. Harris was later released with a court date.
A domestic battery situation May 30 near the Homeless Gospel Church near Pineville resulted in the arrest of Matthew Galloway, age 27 of Mountain Home. Galloway’s girlfriend reported that she and Galloway got into a fight, that he pushed her against a vehicle while she was holding an eleven month old child. She further reported that she was pregnant with Galloway’s child. Two Samaritans responded to the altercation and Galloway struck their vehicle with a maul and then attempted to hit one of the responding Samaritans. Galloway was charged with domestic battery third degree, assault second degree, and endangering the welfare of a minor.
A traffic stop the night of June 1 of a vehicle driven by Clinton William Young and occupied with passenger Matthew Sutterfield resulted in several charges. Young, whose license was suspended, had a hypodermic needle on his person and passenger Suttefield pulled out a clear bag from his pocket containing a crystal like substance suspected to be methamphetamine. Under the driver’s seat of the vehicle was another clear bag containing a substance suspected to be methamphetamine. Young was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance. Young posted bond June 4 in the amount of $10,000, given a court date and released. Suttterfield was charged with po0ssesion of a controlled substance and he too posted bond in the amount of $10,000, given a court date and released from the Izard County Detention Facility.
Janette Diane Casey, age 49 of Violet Hill was arrested May 30 on breaking or entering and theft of property charges. Casey posted bond the day of her arrest in the amount of $5,000 on these felony charges, given a court date, and released
Billy Craig, age 58 of Mt. Pleasant was placed into protective custody on May 28 and released to St. Vincent Hospital in Little Rock on June 29.Jim Wayne Dayberry, age 27 of Mt. View was arrested June 5 on five counts of theft of property. Dayberry posted bond June 5 in the amount of $1,500, given a court date, and released from the Izard County Detention Facility.
Christopher John Frey, age 21 of Brockwell was arrested May 25 on charges to include possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance, and battery third degree. Frey remains incarcerated on a probation/parole hold.
Michael Charles Glavish, age 30 of Mountain Home was arrested June 2 on a failure to pay fines warrant and remains in the Izard County Detention Facility..
John Dryden, age 45 of Mountain Home was arrested June 3 on a failure to appear warrant and was released the following day with a court date.
James Franklin Wynne, age 46 of Etowah, Arkansas was arrested May 31 on a failure to pay fines warrant. Wynne appeared before District Judge David E. Miller, released and given a court date.
Alan Aaron Winemiller, age 30 of Horseshoe Bend was arrested June 5on a failure to pay fines warrant. Winemiller appeared before District Judge David E. Miller on June 8, given a court date and released
Wayne Heikes, age 28 of Horseshoe Bend remains in the Izard County Detention Facility following his June 5 arrest for failure to pay fines.
David M. Rasmussen, age 48 of Cave City was arrested May 31 on a failure to pay fines warrant. Rasmussen posted and $360 cash bond the day of his arrest and was released with a court date from the Izard County Detention Facility.
Jennifer Lindsey Burke, age 20 of Batesville was arrested May 24 on a failure to pay fines warrant. Burke posted bond the following date in the amount of $770, given a court date, and released.
Dustin Taylor Birchett, age 19 of Hot Springs w arrested on June 4 for failure to appear. Birchett remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $1,000 cash bond.
Ashley Michelle Sherrill, age 27 of Calico Rock was arrested on warrants to include failure to appear and failure to pay fines. Sherrill remains in the Izard County Detention Faculty in lieu of $2,980 bond.
