PINEVILLE BROTHERS ARRESTED

The Brown brothers of Pineville were arrested on June 7 following an altercation apparently following a long term argument over land previously owned by their now deceased mother.  Richard Thomas Brown, age 56 and his brother Ricky Brown, age 57 are being held in the Izard County Detention pending formal charges. Richard Brown apparently attempted to assault his brother with a knife type instrument and his brother, Ricky responded by shooting Richard in the leg with a handgun.

Michael Edward Gilbreath, age 40 of Ash Flat was arrested Sunday night and is being held in the Izard County Detention Facility pending charges. Gilbreath is accused of assaulting his father and mother. The mother had to be hospitalized as the result of her son’s assault.

Timothy Scott Cannon, age 22 of Horseshoe Bend was again arrested, this time June 7, for entering the property of another. Cannon was charged and jailed for criminal trespass and is being held in the Izard County Detention Facility.

Kathy Ann Daniels, age 53 of Oxford was arrested June 3 on a violation of Arkansas hot check law warrant. Daniels remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $1,200 bond.

Jennifer Dawn Elliott, age 36 of Calico Rock was committed June 5to the Izard County Detention Facility from Izard County Juvenile Court. Elliot was committed for a thirty day period.

Tadd Hickerson, age 25 of Melbourne was arrested May 27 on the charge of public intoxication-drugs. Hickerson was later released with a court date.

Melissa Neal, age 32 of Oxford was arrested June 1 on forgery second degree charges, furnishing prohibited articles into a jail facility, and obstructing governmental operations. Neal is accused of forging hot checks at a Mt. Pleasant business on the account of a Cave City man.  During the traffic stop leading to her arrest, Neal gave false information and introduced marijuana into the Izard County Detention Facility. Neal remains jailed on a no bond status.

Hubert Eugene Seals, age 32 of Scott, Missouri was arrested June 1 on charges of driving on a suspended license, possessing of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance, obstructing governmental operations and was placed on a Missouri hold. Seals remain in the Izard County Detention Facility on a no bond status.

Joseph Bradford, age 60 of Oxford was arrested the afternoon of June 4 on charges to include driving while intoxicated, careless driving, leaving the scene of an accident, and having no driving license. Bradford posted bond the following day in the amount of $2,365 bond, given a court date and released from the Izard County Detention Facility.

George B. Tunnicliff, age 50 of Dolph was arrested June 8 for non-support of a child and as being held on a $22,236 bond.

Kristy Goodson, age 33 of Calico Rock was arrested June 2 on a violation of Arkansas hot check law warrant. Goodson posted bond the day of her arrest in the amount $988, and released from the Izard County Detention Facility with a June 26 court date.

Larry Richardson, age 44 of Calico Rock was arrested June 3 on the charge of felony hindering apprehension,  was released  after posting a $5,000 bond and given a June 23 circuit court date.
