TWENTY YEAR OLD ACCUSED OF HAVING SEX WITH FIFTEEN YEAR OLD

A Sage man, twenty year old Gregory Ryan Langston, Jr., was arrested June 17 on the charge of sexual assault in the fourth degree. Langston is accused of having sex with an underage female age 15. Sheriff Tate Lawrence said that Langston had previously told the female’s mother that he was only 17 year old. Langston remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of bond.

Greer Travis Bradley, age 19 of Horseshoe Bend was arrested Friday on charges of residential burglary and theft of property, both felonies. Bradley is accused of stealing two motorcycles from a residence in a Horseshoe Bend trailer park and trading them for a boat. The motorcycles have been recovered. Bradley remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $10,000 bond.

Following several complaints from neighbors in the Easy K area of Zion, Lynn Marie Gilliss, age 53 of 146 Easy K Road was arrested June 17 on the charge of harassment. Sheriff Lawrence said that Gilliss is accused yelling obscenities at the neighbors, shooting firearms in the middle of the night, and other harassing activities. Gilliss appeared before District Judge David E. Miller, released from the Izard County Detention Facility, and given a June 26 court date.

Lacy Marie Wallace, age 32 of Highland Street, Calico Rock was arrested Friday on three counts of shoplifting from the Calico Rock Family Dollar Store. Wallace posted bond the day after her arrest in the amount of $3,315, released from the Izard County Detention Facility and given a July1 court date.

A loud noise compliant in Oxford around midnight Saturday resulted in the arrest of 29 year old Cecilia J. Taylor. When talking to Taylor and her husband, Deputy Richard Williams noted both smelled heavily of intoxicants. During his conversation with them, Taylor kept trying to grab the deputy’s hand and when he would remove his hand from hers, she called him obscenities and made sexually obscene hand motions. After telling them to stay inside and discontinue to the loud music, Deputy Williams left only to be called back to the residence of their neighbor. Taylor was observed in their yard yelling at them. Taylor was arrested and jailed on the charges of disorderly conduct and public intoxication.  According to Sheriff Lawrence, Taylor remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $410 bond.

Edwin Carl Bartlett, age 63 of Pepper Sauce Alley, Calico Rock was arrested June 18 on the charge of leaving the scene of a parking lot accident and for having no insurance. Bartlett was released from the Izard County Detention Facility in the following day and given a July 10 court date.

Christopher Ross Howell, age 19 of Horseshoe Bend was arrested June 16 for operating a vehicle without a driver’s license. Howell posted bond the day of his arrest in the amount of $355 and given a Horseshoe Bend court date.

Leon Blake Kelly, age 48 of Batesville was arrested June 17 on a contempt of court charge. Kelly posted a $570 cash bond the day of his arrest, released, and given a June 23 court date.

Jacob Shane Hooper, age 31 was arrested June 18 on a felony bond revocation and remains in the Izard County Detention Facility on a no bond status.

A Cave City man, Michael Lee Boss was arrested June 21 for felony failure to appear. Thirty five year old Boss remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $10,000 bond.

Jennifer Billingsley, age 31 of Norfolk was arrested June 18 on a failure to appear warrant. Billingsley posted bond the day of her arrested in the amount of $500 and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility.

Dwayne Jay Newman, age 58 of Mountain View was arrested June 19 on a failure to pay fines warrant. Newman remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of a $1,130 cash bond.

A Pineville woman, Angela Marie Dickerson was arrested June 19 on a failure to pay fines warrant. Thirty six year old Dickerson remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $1,355 bond.
