SELF PROFESSED AMBASSADOR ARRESTED IN HORSESHOE BEND

Following a disturbance at a Horseshoe Bend business on August 11, Gregory W. Gieseke was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and obstructing governmental operations. The 46 year old Gieseke was without any identification and refused to give any personal information about himself and would only say that he was an ambassador, according to Sheriff Tate Lawrence.  On July 14 his identity was determined along with his address of Martinsville, Indiana at which time he was released and given a court date.

Norma Scott, age 75 of Horseshoe Bend was arrested Saturday on a hot check warrant. During the initial inquiry at the West Ridge Circle residence, a 49 year old male identified as Ronald Eugene Strader told deputies that Scott was not at the residence and he was arrested and charged with obstructing governmental operations. The day of their arrest, Scott posted bond in the amount of $400 while Strader posted bond in the amount of $1,005 and both were released from the Izard County Detention Facility and given a court date.

Cody Curtis, age 23 of Mt. Pleasant was arrested Friday on two counts of possessing a controlled substance. Curtis posted bond August 17 in the amount of $2,460 and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility with an October 23 court date. The companion arrest was Kendra Aline King, age 34 also of Mt. Pleasant was charged with two counts of possessing a controlled substance. King too posted a $2,460 bond and was released with a court date.

Timmothy Jay Clary, age 30 of Calico Rock was arrested Saturday on charges of public intoxication, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled substance. Clark remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $2,540 bond.

An incident at a Calico Rock hospital resulted in the August 13 arrest of Delores McNealy of Melbourne.  Thirty seven year old McNealy was released from the Izard County Detention the day her arrest after posting bond in the amount of $205  and given a court date.

Matthew Cristopher Arnold, age 27 of Salem was arrested Friday on a probation/parole hold and remains in the Izard County Detention on a no bond status.

Kelly Jo Smoot, age 29 of Viola was arrested August 13 on a probation/parole violation and remains in the Izard County Detention Facility without bond.

Lewie Elmer Branscum, age 28 of Calico Rock was jailed August 14 for failing to comply with the provisions of his previous release and remains in the Izard County Detention Facility without bond. Branscum is also a person of interest relating to another crime.

Following an altercation Sunday with her husband, Heather Crouch, age 40 of Wiseman was arrested on the charge of domestic battering third degree. Crouch remains in the Izard County Detention Facility.

Kwame Rashad Wyrick, age 22 of Augusta was arrested Saturday on a failure to appear warrant. Wyrick remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $1,000 bond.
