Zabrien Allen Meek, age 33 of Horseshoe Bend was arrested Thursday night on the charge of possessing drug paraphernalia. Meek remains in the Izard County Detention Facility and is scheduled to appear in Izard County District Court-Horseshoe Bend Division on September 9.
A male juvenile, age 17, was charged Saturday night with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance-marijuana. Deputy Richard Williams, while investigating a reported attempted break-in in Melbourne observed the male getting into a vehicle and when Smith approached the vehicle he smelled what appeared to be marijuana coming from the vehicle. While searching the vehicle, a zip lock baggie containing a green leafy substance was discovered between the driver and passenger seat. Assisting Deputy Ed Sollock discovered a small Mason jar under the driver’s seat and it too contained a green leafy substance. A grinder commonly used to prepare marijuana for smoking was discovered inside a tennis shoe in the vehicle. The juvenile had rolling papers in his left front pocket. The juvenile was released to custody of his mother and given a court date.
A North Little Rock woman, 24 year old Jessica Amber Fullington was arrested Saturday night by Deputy Jason Jordan. Fullington was charged with possessing a counterfeit controlled substance and possessing an instrument of crime. Fullington was released with a court date the following day after posting bond in the amount of $2,335.
Joshua Nathan Cagle, age 29 of Calico Rock was arrested August 21 on the charge of domestic battering third degree. Cagle is accused of physically assaulting a female at a cemetery in Calico Rock. Cagle remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of a $1,000 cash bond.
Sherman Ball, age 34 of Melbourne was arrested shortly before midnight on August 20 on charges of endangering the welfare of a minor second degree-five counts and obstructing governmental operations. Ball threatened to kill himself with a handgun in front of children. Ball was later transferred for professional counseling.
William Blackley, age 32 of Horseshoe Bend was arrested August 19 on a probation/parole violation and remains in the Izard County Detention Facility on a no bond status.
Jared Dwight Branscum, age 32 of Pineville was arrested August 18 on a harassing communications warrant involving a female.
Tena Renee Haynes, age 45 of Calico Rock was arrested Friday night on charges to include no operator’s license, driving while intoxicated- drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, refusal to submit to a chemical test. Additional charges are pending against Haynes and she remains in the Izard County Detention Facility on a Drug Task Force hold.
Roger Lee Johnson, age 44 of Rosie was arrested August 20 on a parole violation and remains in the Izard County Detention Facility on a no bond status.
Samantha Jane Padelford, age 26, who stated she was homeless, was arrested Friday on a probation violation.
Two Batesville people, Barbara Alene Schumacher, age 31 and Frank Curtis Solis, Jr., age 35 were arrested Sunday night on Independence County warrants. Both are awaiting transfer to Batesville.
Marilyn Lynn Baker, age 40 of Mt. Pleasant was arrested August 18 on the charge of harassment. Baker posted bond. Baker posted bond the day of her arrest, released and given a court date.
Charles Neal Patterson, age 50 of North Little Rock was arrested Sunday on a Yell County warrant and was transferred to Yell County authorities the day of his arrest.
Amy Lynn Smith, age 20 of Salem was transported Friday to the Arkansas Department of Correction.
