Three individuals have been arrested in connection with the theft of a purse from a Calico Rock hospital. Jacob Raymond Frey, age 25 of Brockwell was arrested September 4 with theft of property and public intoxication-drugs while his brother James Frey, age 22 of Mt. Pleasant along with the younger Frey’s companion, Mercedes Martin, age 21 of Mt. Pleasant were charged with theft by receiving and public intoxication-drugs. All three posted bond Saturday, given a court date and released from the Izard County Detention Facility. Sheriff Tate Lawrence said that Cpl. Mark Simino was the arresting officer.
Lindsey Dawn Teague, age 23 of Batesville was arrested Thursday on charge of battery third degree. The warrant of arrest stems from allegation that Teauge assaulted another woman at Melbourne during a party. Teague appeared before District Judge David E. Miller, given a court date, and released from the Izard County Detention Facility.
Meagan Stanton, age 21 of Ridge Circle in Horseshoe Bend was arrested September 2 on charge of criminal trespass and obstructing governmental operations. Stanton is accused of walking through peoples’ yards in an area of Horseshoe Bend and refused to tell officers who was with her. Deputies later determined that her companion is the case was Anthony Wright, age 28, also of Horseshoe Bend. Wright initially provided false information as to his identity resulting in the obstruction charge. Stanton appeared before District Judge Miller on September 4, given a court date and released from the Izard County Detention Facility. Wright remains in the Izard County Detention in lieu of $1,710 bond.
Kelvin Edward Walde, age 25 of Pineville was arrested September 4 on a probation violation and a warrant for fleeing. When located for the September 4 arrest, Walde fled from officers resulting in an additional fleeing charge.
A Calico Rock woman, thirty six year old Jennifer Leann Rushing was arrested Labor Day on the charge of terroristic threatening second degree. The charge is the result threatening a Horseshoe Bend woman. Rushing posted bond the day of her arrested on the amount of $500 cash and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility with a September 9 Horseshoe Bend Court date.
Jeremy Lewis Gross, age 40 of Franklin was arrested September 2 on a nonsupport warrant. Gross posted bond the day of his arrest in the amount of $1,200 cash, given a court date of September 9 and released from the Izard County Detention Facility.
Michael Joseph Kelly, age 25 of Franklin was arrested September 3 on a failure to pay fines warrant. Kelly posted a cash bond the day of his arrest in the amount of $500, released from the Izard County Detention Facility and given a December 15 court date.
Larry Dean Silas, age 44 of Magness was arrested September 3 on a felony failure to appear warrant. Silas remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of a $10,000 cash bond.
Robert Gene Ferrari, age 25 of Horseshoe Bend was arrested Friday on an Arkansas Department of Correction probation violation. Ferrari remains in the Izard County Detention Facility without bond.
Five inmates, according to Sheriff Lawrence, were transported to the Arkansas Department of Correction September 3. These inmates were being held in the Izard County Detention Facility since their sentencing date awaiting prison bed space. They were Kevin Michael Gaeke, age 29 of Horseshoe Bend; Harvey Leon Lossey, age 51 of Calico Rock; James Aaron Rittenberry, age 36 of Violet Hill; Christopher Michael Cosentino, age 35 of Oxford; and Paul David Beaver, age 30 of Horseshoe Bend.
