Dana Lee Jensen, age 27 was arrested September 17 on a warrant having a felony charge of breaking or entering and a charge of theft of property. Sheriff Tate Lawrence said the warrant stems from an incident at a Horseshoe Bend residence where a small four wheeler, glassware, and numerous other items were taken. Jensen, who says she lives in Glencoe but gets mail at Viola, posted bond the following day in the amount of $2,500 and given an October 1st Izard County Circuit Court date.
Blake Alan Dixon, age 23 of Horseshoe Bend was arrested Sunday by Deputy Toby Smith on charges of possession a controlled substance, and possessing an instrument of crime. Dixon remains in the Izard County Detention Facility with no bond.
Another Horseshoe Bend person, Kira Noel Peacock, age 21 was arrested September 17 for possessing a controlled substance without a prescription. Deputy Mike Smith was the arresting officer. Peacock posted bond the following day in the amount of $1,105, released, and given a Horseshoe Bend Court of October 7.
Eric Michael Bear, age 26 of Horseshoe Bend was arrested September 17 on charges to include possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, reckless driving, and operating a vehicle without insurance. Bear posted bond the following day in the amount of $1.550, released from the Izard County Detention and given an October 7 HSB court date.
Samantha Jo Branscum, age 26 of Pineville was arrested by Cpl. Mark Simino September 18 on a warrant accusing her of criminal mischief and criminal trespass. Sheriff Lawrence said she and an accomplice are accused of committing these acts at her parents’ property. Branscum remains in the Izard County Detention at least until Thursday’s court date. The accomplice has not yet been arrested.
A Franklin man, Brenson Seth Webb, age 34 was arrested September 17 by ASP Trooper Pickers during a traffic stop for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving an unregistered vehicle. Webb posted bond the day of his arrest , released and given a court date.
Marcus Shaun Allen, age 22 of Horseshoe Bend was arrested September 16 by Deputy Jaden Whitaker on charges of public intoxication and disorderly conduct. Allen was released from the Izard County Detention Faculty the following day after posting a $400 bond and given an October 7 HSB court date.
Mark Rogers, age 35 was arrested September 17 on a failure to appear warrant. Rogers, of Batesville remains in the Izard County Detention Facility without bond.
Sgt. Gabe Sanders arrested Dixie Marie Olson of Melbourne on September 18 on a failure to appear warrant. Olson remains in the Izard County Detention Facility without bond with a court date of September 25.
John David Humes, age 56 was arrested Friday by Cpl. Mark Simino on a failure to appear warrant. Humes of Oxford remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of a $750 cash bond.
Damien Aaron Huckabee, age 33 of Batesville was arrested in Batesville Friday on an Izard County failure to appear warrant and was transported to the Izard County Detention Facility by Izard County Transport Deputy Y.D. Whitehurst. Huckabee remains in jail in lieu of a $2,450 cash bond.
