Steven William Chute, age 25 of Pineville was arrested December 19 and later formally charged with one misdemeanor and two felony drug related charges. Chute is scheduled to appear in Izard County Circuit Court during the January term on charges that include use or possession with the intent to use drug paraphernalia and the felony charges of use or possession to use drug paraphernalia and possession of prescribed narcotic drugs outside of the original container. Chute also faces District Court charges of driving on a suspended license, obstructing governmental operations, and carrying a prohibited weapon. Chute remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $25,000 cash bond. Sheriff Tate Lawrence said that Chute is frequent participant in the criminal justice system.
A Sage pair, identified as Monic Chruchwell, age 38; and Earl David McAffee, age 43 were arrested December 19 on the charge of theft of property. Both are accused of shoplifting from the General Dollar Store in Horseshoe Bend. Sgt. Dennis Hutchins was the arresting officer. Churchwell appeared before District Judge David E. Miller and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility with a January 6 court date while McAffee was released as well.
A pair, Marty Grant Sexton, age 38 of Calico Rock and Romano Lynn Taylor, age 46 of Calico Rock was charged with criminal trespass and theft of property after stealing items from a shed near their residence. Sexton remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $500 cash bond. Taylor posted bond Christmas Eve in the amount of $500 cash bond. Both are scheduled to appear in Izard County District Court January 8.
David Michael Fiss, age 25 of North Little Rock was arrested December 19 on a failure to pay fines warrant. Fiss remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $2,405 bond.
Cody A. Curtis, age 23 of Mount Pleasant was arrested December 21 for driving on a revoked license as the result of a recent DWI. Curtis posted a $1,105 bond the day of his arrest and issued a December 12 court date.
Thomas Lee Deuel, age 47 of Horseshoe Bend was arrested December 23 by Deputy Mike Smith on the charge of public intoxication. Deuel remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $230 bond.
Richard Kyle Cohn, age 27 of Horseshoe Bend was arrested Christmas Eve following a minor traffic violation. A container that is believed to have previously contained an illegal drug was located and as a result Cohn was placed on a probation/parole hold and remains in the Izard County Detention Facility without bond.
Roy Glisson, age 57 of Horseshoe Bend was arrested December 19 on a nonsupport warrant and remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of a $39,728 bond. Glisson is scheduled to appear in Izard County Circuit Court on January 20.
Garrett Kane Batterton, age 23 of Greenbrier was December 12 on a failure to pay fines warrant. Batterton posted a $1,110 cash bond Christmas Eve and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility.
Sharleen Johnston, age 53 of Horseshoe Bend was arrested Christmas Eve on charges of criminal trespass and theft of property. Johnston is accused of entering the property of another and taking a motor vehicle. Johnston posted a $1,710 bod the day she arrested and given a January 22 court date.
Richard Wayne Burrow, age 43 of Mammoth Spring was arrested December 20 on a failure to pay fines warrant. Burrow later posted a $100 cash bond and given a January 22 court date.
Following an incident in Oxford the night of Christmas, Tracey Lynn Alex, age 44 was charged with domestic battering third degree and public intoxication. Also charged at that time was James Filchak on the same charges. Both are awaiting a bond appearance.
Eric Hellums, age 43 of Oxford was arrested Saturday for driving on a suspended license. Hellums remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $355 bond and a hold from Conway County.
John Wesley Jacobs, age 38 of Marshall was arrested Saturday on a failure to appear warrant and remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $1,000 cash bond.
