A Calico Rock man was arrested Friday and charged with theft of property. According to Sheriff Tate Lawrence, Jessie Lee Brem, age 26 is accused to selling a man from Scotland U.K. radio equipment, receiving the man’s money but failed to deliver the purchase. Brem remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $700 cash bond.

Darrell Dean Lawrence, age 51 of Ravenden was arrested January 20 on charges of theft of property and violation of Arkansas hot check law. Lawrence is accused of writing a worthless check to B & B Supply in Franklin. Lawrence posted a bond of $1,935 on January 22 and appeared in Izard County Circuit Court the day he bonded.

Erick Dawayne Beck, age 38 of Brockwell was arrested January 18 and placed on a hold pending felony charges which were later formalized to include sexual indecency with a child. Beck remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $10,000 bond.

Michael Richard Dempski, age 45 of Calico Rock was arrested January 20 on the charge of harassing communications. After being repeatedly advised to leave a Calico Rock business, Dempski allegedly made harassing phone calls to store employees. Dempski remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $2, 500 cash bond.

Another Calico Rock man, Edwin Carl Bartlett was arrested January 23 on the charge of criminal trespass. Bartlett is accused of entering property that was marked “no trespassing” in the older section of the town. Bartlett remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $500 cash bond.

Matthew Taylor Maines, age 20 of West Lafayette, Indiana was arrested January 20 on the charge of driving with an invalid license. Maines remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $350 bond.

Joshua Nathan Collins, age 30 of Salem was arrested January 18 on the charge of disorderly conduct. Collins posted bond the following day in the amount of $205, given a Horseshoe Bend Court date of February 10, and released from the Izard County Detention Facility.

Heather Runae Roemmich was arrested January Friday on a petition to revoke probation/parole and is being held without bond in the Izard County Detention Facility.

Thomas Albert Branscum, age 34 of Melbourne was arrested Friday on a nonsupport warrant. Branscum posted a cash bond of $1,050 the day of his arrest and was released for a child support court date on February 26.

A Calico Rock man was arrested Friday on a failure to appear in court warrant. Jaye Frank Guy, age 47 who was recently released from the Izard County Detention Facility was again arrested for failure to appear in court. Guy remains in the jail in lieu of $2,000 cash bond.

Megan Brea Stanton, age 21 of Salem was arrested January 18 for failure to appear.  Stanton was released from the Izard County Detention Facility January 22 after appearing in Izard County District Court.

Four individuals were arrested on a warrant for failure to pay fines to Izard County District Court. These individuals include Kevin Lawrence, age 45 of Oxford who remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $490 cash bond; Jared Daniel Geaslin, age 32 of Mt. Pleasant who remains jailed in lieu of $1,950 cash bond; Lance Dewayne Smith, age 22 of Melbourne who posted bond the day of his arrest in the amount of $1,000 cash and released; and Timothy David Jones, age 23 of Calico Rock who remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $430 cash bond.

Lee Sullivan Ivory, age 50 of Jonesboro was arrested Friday on a Craighead County warrant and was transferred to Jonesboro the day of his arrest.
