Early Saturday morning, deputies were dispatched to AAA Apartments in Melbourne in response to a reported fight. It was determined that Darrell McQueen and Victoria Ring had in fact been fighting. McQueen face, hands, and elbow appeared to be mostly cover3e with blood while Ring showed signs on her skin of an altercation. Ring was very uncooperative with deputies. Both were extremely intoxicated and refused emergency medical treatment. Ring, age 44 of 156 Lunen Street, Melbourne and McQueen, age 61409 Dixon Apartment were both charged with battery third degree and being held in the Izard County Detention Facility pending an appearance before a District Judge David E. Miller
Following a traffic stop Friday night in which drugs and paraphernalia were found, Shelby May, a white female,age23 of Melbourne and Joshua Nathan Cagle, age 29 of Dolph were arrested and being held in the Izard County Detention Facility pending formal drug charges.
Craig Allen Gallup, age 38 of Mexico, Missouri was arrested Friday night in Izard County on a felony Missouri warrant. Gallup is being held in the Izard County Detention Facility pending extradition to Missouri.
Carolyn Joi Wallace, age 33 of Salem was arrested Friday and placed on a hold by the Izard County/Fulton County Drug Court. Wallace remains in the Izard County Detention Facility without bond.
Sunday night Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Tate Road in Melbourne in response to the compliant of a female that a bloody male was at her door. Deputies determined that the male was Stephen Vail who was very incoherent and stated that someone had beaten him but that he didn’t know who. Vail at one point ran from deputies, was tased and tackled. It was later determined that Vail had wrecked his vehicle in the vicinity of residence and had not been beaten after all. Vail was charged with indecent exposure, disorderly conduct, fleeing, resisting arrest, careless driving, and failure to report an accident. Vail, age 24 of Searcy remains in the Izard County Detention Center.
Five individuals have been arrested on petitions to revoke probation/parole because of infractions Amanda Miller age 26 of Cave City was arrested January 25 and remains in the Izard County Detention Facility without bond. Matthew Dwayne Sutterfleld, age 40 of Mountain Home was arrested January 25 and was transported to Baxter County to face other charges. Ricky Dowdle, age 59 of Locus Street in Melbourne was arrested January 27 and remains in the Izard County Detention Facility on a “no bond” status awaiting a court hearing. Dowdle, at the time of his arrest tested positive for opiates, marijuana, methamphetamine, and oxycodone. Lane Wakeo Garrison, age 40 of Pearl Drive, Mt. Peasant was arrested January 27 and admitted to using marijuana while on probation. Garrison remains in the Izard County Detention Facility without bond and awaiting a court hearing. William Thomas Stanton, age 22 of Horseshoe Bend was arrested January 30 and is being held in the Izard County Detention Facility awaiting a revocation hearing.
Jessica Rae Beck, age 26 of Cave City was arrested January 27 on an absconder warrant and was transported the following day from the Izard County Detention Facility to Lawrence County.
Charles Edward Adams, age 59 of Oxford was arrested January 28 on a failure to appear warrant. Adams was released the day of his arrest due to medical reasons and given a Horseshoe Bend court date of February 12.
Justin Alan Haigwood, age 20 of Batesville was arrested January 26 on a failure to pay fines warrant. Haigwood remains in the Izard County Detention Facility on a $410 cash bond and is awaiting court of February 12.
Harley Nathaniel Barker, age 18 of Wideman was arrested January 25 and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility after posting $390 cash bond. Barker’s scheduled court date in Melbourne is February 12.
