MAN CHARGED WITH DOMESTIC BATTERY

Brensen Seth Webb, age 35 of Melbourne was arrested Sunday afternoon on the charge of domestic battery. According to the report taken by Deputy Jason Jordan, Webb and his sister got into an argument that later escalated to a physical altercation. The sister was transported from the scene to obtain medical treatment. Webb was also arrested on a failure to appear warrant on previous drug related charges. Webb remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $3,000 on the initial charge while bond has not been set on the domestic charge.

Leif Scott Cantrell, age 32 of Calico Rock was arrested March 2 on an Izard County District court contempt charge which resulted in the violation of a no contact order issued earlier by that court. Cantrell remains in the Izard County Detention Facility without bond

A Mammoth Spring man, twenty year old Michael Craig Bailey was arrested Saturday by Deputy Toby Smith on charges of driving on a suspended license and having no vehicle insurance. Bailey posted bond the day of his arrest in the amount of $580, given an April 9 court date, and released from the Izard County Detention Facility.

Kevin Keith Chute, age 43 of Pineville was arrested Saturday on charges of driving on a suspended license and operating an unsafe vehicle. Chute his being held in the Izard County Detention Facility on a parole hold from the Arkansas Department of Correction and without bond.

Jamie Nichole Woodcock, age 27 of Calico Rock, an occupant in the vehicle driven by Chute was placed on a probation hold and remains in the Izard County Detention Facility without bond.

Deputy Toby Smith stopped a speeding truck Sunday night and the driver had a suspended license and did not have vehicle license plates. Barry David Ivey, age 56 of Franklin was charged with the offenses and taken to the Izard County Detention Facility. The license suspension is the result of a DWI and Ivey remains in jail on a no bond.

Chris Adam Christie, age 29 of Salem was arrested Friday on a failure to pay fines warrant and remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $1,120 bond.

Jason William Davidson, age 35 of Batesville was arrested March 3 on an Izard County failure to appear warrant. Davidson remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of a $1,000 cash bond with a schedule court day on March 26.
