STANLEY CHARGES UPGRADED

Charges on Jason Robert Stanley were upgraded from an earlier incident and arrest at the Dollar General Store in Calico Rock. On March 19  Jason Stanley, age 38 of Calico Rock  was charged  and arrested for sexual assault second degree relating to his conduct toward female store clerk.    Sheriff Tate Lawrence said Stanley posted a $50,000 cash bond the day of his arrest, given a circuit court date of April 21, and released from the Izard County Detention Facility.

In an unrelated matter, Zackery Matthew Haley, age 29 of Melbourne was arrested twice in recent days. On March 14 Haley was charged with possession of a controlled substance, driving on a suspended license, and driving while intoxicated-drugs. On March 19 Haley was charged with possession of a controlled substance, and speeding. Haley posted bond later March 19 in the amount of $1,410, given a district court date of May 7, and released from the Izard County Detention Facility.

William Andrew Eaton, age 31 of Horseshoe Bend was arrested March 18 on the charge of domestic battering third degree. Eaton is accused of throwing hot water on a female victim. Eaton was released after posting a $1,105 bond and given a Horseshoe Bend Court Date of April 7.

In another  domestic violence situation, Zachary Alan Kautz, age 24 of Melbourne was arrested March 18 on charges of domestic battering  third degree, battery third degree, criminal mischief second degree, and public intoxication. Kautz is accused of kicking the door in at the residence of Vanessa Kautz and assaulting her and pushing her to the ground. Kautz remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $3,520 bond.

Felony charges have been brought against a Horseshoe Bend woman for theft of property and criminal contempt. Twenty three year old Melanie Jordon O’Brien is accused of attempting to pass forged checks at a local bank.  O’Brien remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $10,000 bond.

James Lawrence Frey, age 23 of Melbourne was arrested  Friday on charges of first degree assault on a family member, possession of a controlled substance, an furnishing prohibited article into a detention  facility. The compliant stated that Fry had been at a Melbourne residence causing trouble all day and that escalated into a physical altercation. The prohibited charge, a class “c” felony, stems from Frey having scheduled narcotics in his pocket at the time of booking into jail.  Frey remains in the Izard County Detention Facility without bond.

Kevin Warren Gragg, age 43 of Norfolk was arrested Friday on bench warrant for criminal contempt and remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of a $10,000 cash bond.

Joshua David Sanders, age 36 of Dolph was arrested Friday on charges of public intoxication and obstruction of governmental operations. Sanders was released the day of his arrest and given a May 7 court date.

Justin Luverne Denzer, age 26 of Pineville was arrested Saturday on charges of possession of a controlled substance, driving while intoxicated –drugs, refusal to submit to a chemical test, no drivers license, no insurance, no vehicle registration, and defective lights. Denzer remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $1,900 bond and a hold for additional charges.

Carol Ann Baum, age 46 of Batesville was arrested Friday on the charge of theft of property. The charges stem from her writing a check to Miller’s Market in Melbourne on a closed account. Baum posted bond in the amount of $500 on the Izard charges and posted a $435 bond on a White County warrant the day of her arrest.

An Evening Shade man identified as Caleb Elmer Goodman was arrested Saturday night on of driving while intoxicated-second offense, driving on revoked drivers license as the result of a previous DWI, and refusal to submit to a chemical test.  Twenty four-year old Goodman remains in the Izard Cou8nty Detention Facility in lieu of $1,950 bond.

Dixie Marie Olson, age 21 of Cherokee Village was late Thursday night on charges of public intoxication, a failure to appear warrant, and a failure to pay fines warrant. Olson remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu f $3,000 cash bond.

Kevin Michael Gaeke, age 30 of Horseshoe Bend was arrested March 17 on a failure to pay fines warrant. Gaeke was released the following day after posting a $1,552 and given a March 26 court date.

Walter Jay Ball, age 48 of Violet Hill was arrested March 17 for driving on a suspended license. Ball posted bond the day of his arrest in the amount of $350, given an April 23 court date, and released from the Izard County Detention Facility.

Misty Rene Pearson, age 31 of Mountain View was arrested Thursday on the charge of failure to pay fines. Pearson remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $650 cash bond.

Angela Carol Sanders, age 33 of Melbourne was arrested on warrants of failure to pay fines, a warrant from Independence County, and theft of property. Sanders remains in the Izard County Detention Facility without bond.
