TWO EXTRADITED FROM TENNESSEE

Shelby Lyn May, age 23 of Izard County was arrested last week in Camden Tennessee and returned to Arkansas on December 22. May was arrested on a bench warrant for theft of property and a bench warrant for failure to appear in Izard County Circuit Court.  May remains in the Izard County Detention Facility on a $15,000 cash bond with a court date of June 22.

Also arrested last week in Tennessee was Joshua Cagle, age 29 of Melbourne. Cagle too was arrested on a felony warrant for failure to appear and a misdemeanor warrant for criminal tresspass. Cagle remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $12,510 bond.

Shannon Bellers, age 36 of Piggott was arrested May 28 following a traffic stop near the Antioch Church on county road 81 Izard County. Bellers was combative and attempted to escape from Deputy Jason Jordan. Once Bellers was subdued, a substance suspected to be methamphetamine was found on his person and felony charges are pending.  Charges already levied against Bellers include a failure to appear, public intoxication, and resisting arrest. Currently Bellers is being held in the Izard County Detention Facility without bond.

Kristin Jean Giefer, age 31 of Melbourne was arrested May 23 on the charge of domestic  battering third degree. Giefer is accused of getting into an altercation with her father and striking him with a coffee pot. Giefer remains in the Izard County Detention Facility without bond.

A Sage woman, 22 year old Kimberly Ketchum was arrested May 27 on two counts of fraudulent use of a credit card. Ketchum was released from the Izard County Detention Facility the day of her arrest after posting a $1,500 bond.  Ketchum was given a June 18 court date.

Roger Williams, age 54 of Calico Rock was arrested May 23 on the charge of driving while intoxicated first offense.  Williams posted an $820 bond on May 24, released from the Izard County Detention Facility with a June 18 court date.

In another driving while intoxicated arrest, Anthony Michael Harvell, age 26 of Melbourne was arrested May 23 and was released later that day after posting an $820 bond. Harvell’s court date is June 18.

In yet another driving while intoxicated arrest, Alex Engles, age 21 of Melbourne was arrested May 23 on the charge.  Engles posted an $820 later that day, released from the Izard County Detention Facility and given a June 18 court date.

Also charged with driving while intoxicated was Johnny Edward Sealey who was arrested May 22.  Sealey was released the following day after posting an $820 bond.

Lorrie Northern, age 50 of Bowling Green Kentucky was arrested May 27 on the charge of public intoxication.  Northern posted bond the following day in the amount of $220, given a June 18 court date, and released from the Izard County Detention; Facility.

Savoy Dylan Stewart, age 28 of Calico Rock was arrested May 22 on numerous drug related charges. These charges include fraudulent practice with a controlled substance and two counts of possessing drug paraphernalia. Stewart was released released May 26 after posting a $3,735 bond. Stewart was given a June 18 court date.

Charles Daniel Boothe, age 31 of Calico Rock was arrested May 24 on the charge of public intoxication. Booth was released May 26 after appearing before Judge Jim Short who gave Booth a June 18 court date.

Carrie Ann Ivy, age 32 of Melbourne was arrested May 23 on the charge of domestic battery third degree. Ivy was released May 26 after appearing before Judge Jim Short. Ivy’s scheduled court date is June 18.

Richard Reveley, age 36 of Horseshoe Bend was arrested May 28 on the charge of driving on a suspended license as the result of a previous driving while intoxicated conviction. Reveley was released the day of his arrest because medical issues and was given a June 16 Horseshoe Bend court date.

Laci Taylor was jailed May 28 for violating her terms of probation/parole and will be housed for a seven day period in the Izard County Detention Facility.

Daniel Pierce, age 33 of Cherokee Village was arrested May 22 on the charge of violating Arkansas hot check law.  Pierce was released the day of his arrest after posting a $250 cash bond and given a Horseshoe Bend court date of June 16.

Jacob Wayne Heikes, age 29 of Horseshoe Bend was arrested May 29 on  a failure to pay fines warrant and remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $615 cash bond.

Brittany Burch, age 28 of Oxford was arrested May 22 on a failure to pay fines warrant.  Burch was released from the Izard County Detention Facility by Judge Jim Short and transferred to Fulton County to face charges there.
