DANA JENSEN TASHA BOWMAN
Responding to a marina in Horseshoe Bend on July 31 regarding a child who had been left at the lake without supervision resulted in the arrest of a Horseshoe Bend pair. It was reported that Ericka Lynn Stephens had left and went to a truck where she shot up with some type of drug. Following an investigation, suspected meth was found along with a hypodermic needle were located. Stephens along with Richard Kyle Cohn, age 27 were arrested and are being held in the Izard County Detention Facility pending felony drug charges.
A Mountain Home pair, were arrested at Rand Park in Calico Rock for possession of drug paraphernalia. The minors were cited and released to family with a court date.
Dana Lee Jensen, age 27 of Viola who was residing in Las Vegas until she was extradited July 24 to answer charges in Izard County Circuit Court. Jensen was arrested some time ago on theft and breaking and entering charges. Jensen did not appear in court as scheduled to answer the charges and apparently took off for Nevada where she was arrested for felony failure to appear in court. Sheriff Tate Lawrence said that she was flown back to Memphis by the U.S. Marshall Service, then transferred to Pulaski County where is was picked up by Izard County authorities. Jensen remains in the Izard County Detention Facility without bond and is scheduled to appear in circuit court on August 26.
A Norfolk woman, Tasha Lee Bowman, age 29 was arrested July 28 on a felony charge of delivery of a controlled substance. Bowman remains in the Izard County Detention Facility without bond with an August 28 scheduled circuit court date.
Justin Lee Gobin, age 38 of Calico Rock was arrested Sunday afternoon after deputies were dispatched to a hospital emergency room advising that a female identified as Bogie’s girlfriend had suffered physical injuries. Gobin was charged with domestic battery third degree and remains in the Izard County Detention Facility pending an appearance before a judge.
Shawn Baker, age 20 of Franklin was arrested July 24 on a failure to appear warrant. Baker remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu $10,000 cash bond and is scheduled to appear in both Izard County District Court and Izard County Circuit on August 6 and August 26.
A Gassville woman, twenty one year old Brenna Corryne Grayham was arrested July 28 on charges of driving while intoxicated, refusal to submit to a chemical test, careless/prohibited driving, driving without a license. Grayham appeared before District Judge David E. miller and was released with an August 6 court date.
Richard Crouch, age 44 of Melbourne was arrested July 31 on a warrant charging him with terroristic threatening second degree and battery third degree. Crouch is alleged to have assaulted and threatened the female complainant. Sheriff Lawrence said that Crouch is frequently involved with the criminal justice system in Izard County. Crouch remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $2,500 cash bond and has a scheduled court date of August 6.
Responding to a call that a male was lying in the road ditch near the Spring Creek Cutoff Road near Calico Rock, a male was located. . Following several attempts to awaken Robert Wayne Showers, age 23 of Dolph, Sowers was arrested on public intoxication charge. Stowers remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $220 bond.
Having been released from the Izard County Detention Facility just days ago on theft and drug charges, Melody Renee Hunter, age 22 of Mount Pleasant was again arrest August 1 on a felony Tennessee warrant. When being booked into the Izard County Detention Facility pills and other drugs were discovered in the waistband of her clothes. Charges are pending against Hunter who is being held in the Izard County Detention Facility without bond.
Jerried Lee Hardin, age 33 of Franklin was arrested August 2 for violating a court imposed protection order. Harding is being held in the Izard County Detention Facility without bond. Hardin is also alleged to have chased his soon to be ex-wife in a vehicle at speeds of nearly 100 miles per hour
Tony Lucilla Tilley, age 38 of Calico Rock was arrested July 28 on a failure to appear warrant. Tilley appeared before District Judge David E. Miller was released and given an August 6 court date.
Richard Wayne Burrow, age 43 of Mammoth Spring was arrested July 30 for failure to appear in Izard County District Court. Burrow remains in jailed in lieu of $1,390 cash bond.
After a small child was found wondering on a street in Melbourne the night of July 26, Brittany Danielle Bishop, age 24 was arrested on the charge of endangering the welfare of a minor. At the the time of Bishop’s arrest she tested positive for meth and marijuana Bishop was released the day of her arrest after posting a $620 bond and given an August 6 court date..
Karen Sue Lynch of Old Highway 69 in Melbourne was arrested July 27 on the charge of shoplifting. Lynch is accused of taking items out of the original container and placing the items her pocket leaving the container and not paying for the merchandise. The alleged theft happened at the Dollar Store in Melbourne. Lynch posted bond the following day in the amount of $300 cash and given an August 6 court date.
An Oxford man, thirty year old Zachery L. West was arrested July 29 on charges of shoplifting and public intoxication. The arrest was made at an Oxford store. West posted bond the following day in the amount of $740, released from the Izard County Detention Facility and given an August 6 court date.
Frankie Jo Clayton, age 48 of Mountain Home was arrested July 26 on a criminal trespass warrant. Clayton was released the following day due to medical reasons and given an August 6 court date.
Joseph Wilkerson, age 24 of Melbourne was arrested July 24 on a probation hold but was released the following day but was again arrested July 30 on a probation/parole hold and for obstructing governmental operations. Wilkerson remains in the Izard County Detention Facility without bond.
Cody Allen Curtis, age 24 of Mt. Pleasant was arrested July 30 for driving on a suspended license. Curtis posted bond the day of his arrest in the amount of $350, released from the Izard County Detention Facility and issued an August 6 court date.
Dawn Smith, age 50 of Bull Shoals was arrested July 27 for contempt of court and was ordered to serve a two day commitment in the Izard County Detention Facility.
Three Izard County inmates who were awaiting bed space at the Arkansas Department of Correction were transported August 3 to prison. These inmates included Robert James Hobbs, Jr., age 34 of Batesville; Jacob Shane Hooper, age 32 of Batesville; and Robert Norton, age 53 of Sage.
