ACCIDENT RESULTS IN ARREST

Following a one vehicle accident August 10 near what is known as Helium’s Hill on LaCrosse Road, Sheriff Tate Lawrence said that Otis Dale Pannell, age 51 of Sidney was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated-drugs, having no driver’s license, no insurance, and operating a vehicle without license plates. Pannell’s speech was slurred and he gave different accounts as to what happened to caused the accident. A witness to the accident who was following Pannell said that Pennell’s vehicle was all over the road prior to him running off the road. Pannell appeared before District Judge David E. Miller the following day, was released from the Izard County Detention Facility and given an August 20 court date.

A Mt. Pleasant man, twenty eight year old Evan Clay Stidham was arrested August 10 on the charge of public intoxication. Stidham was released to a family member after posting a $220 bond.

Jaye Frank Guy, age 47 of Calico Rock was arrested August 10 on a harassment warrant. . Guy posted bond the day of his arrest in the amount of $1,000, was released from the Izard County Detention Facility and given An August 20 court date.

A Melbourne woman, Vanessa Lynn Kautz, age 24 was arrested August 10 on the charge of disorderly conduct following a disturbance. Kautz appeared before Judge Miller the following day, released from the Izard County Detention Facility and given an August 20 court date.

Jesse Fry, age 18 of Viola was arrested August 10 on charge of public intoxication and possession of liquor by a miner. Fry was released from the Izard County Detention Facility the day of his arrest and issued a September 1 Horseshoe Bend court date.

Clint William Young, age 38 of Norfolk was arrested August 7 on a petition to revoke probation warrant and remains in the Izard County Detention pending an August 26 circuit court date.

Luke Asher Vest, age 18 of Melbourne was arrested August 15 on charges of public intoxication and possession of intoxicating liquor by a minor. Vest was released from the Izard County Detention Facility the following day after posting a $300 cash bond. Vest’s court date is scheduled for August 20.

Pamela Hodges, age 28 of Mt. View was arrested August 15 on a violation of Arkansas hot check law warrant. Hodges posted a $389 bond the day of her arrest, was released from the Izard County Detention Facility with an August 20 court date.

William Nebergal, age 47 of Bradford was arrested August 13 on a child support enforcement warrant and remains in the Izard County in lieu of $45,000 bond. According to Sheriff Lawrence, Nebergal had been on the sheriff’s most wanted list for two years.

Bryan Keith Sutterfield, age 32 of Mtn. Home was arrested August 13 on a failure t appear warrant. Sutterfield was released the day of his arrest after appearing before Judge Miller. Sutterfiled was given an August 20 court date.

A Horseshoe Bend man, Christopher David Powell, age 37 was arrested August 12 on a failure to pay fines warrant and remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $425 cash bond.
