COUPLE ARRESTED ON ALCOHOL CHARGES

Scott Steven Perry, age 55 of Calico Rock was arrested Saturday night on the charge of domestic battering third degree. A female complainant who identified herself as being the girlfriend of Perry stated that when she came home from work and argument between them broke out.  During the argument, Perry pushed her and she fell over a fence and he then hit her across the chest and left arms.  According to Sheriff Tate Lawrence, Perry had departed the residence when Deputy Ed Sollock arrived but was located at another residence. Perry remains in the Izard County Detention Facility pending an appearance before a judge.

In another case of domestic battery, Casey Lynn Tate, age 28 of highway 58, Melbourne was arrested September 22 as the result of an altercation between he and his wife after she advised him that she was seeking a divorce. In addition to domestic battering, Tate was also charged w with endangering the welfare of a minor. Tate was released from the Izard County Detention Facility the following day after posting a $250 cash bond and given an October 22 court date.

Jimmy Lee Bond, age 42 of Fayetteville was arrested September 20 on charges of obstructing governmental, public intoxication, and battery third degree. Bond remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $1,000 bond.

A Mountain View couple were arrested Saturday night on alcohol related charges. During a highway check point near Mt. Pleasant, William Joseph Foster, age 41 was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated and refusal to submit to a chemical test. Foster’s 36 year old wife, Deana Ranee Foster was arrested on public intoxication charges. Both remain in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of bond and a November 12 court date.

In another alcohol related arrest, Danny Ward Calaway was arrested September 25 on charges of public intoxication and disorderly conduct. Calaway was later released from the Izard County Detention Facility after posting a $440 bond. Calaway’s scheduled court date is November 12.

Jordan Rhyne Cook, age 19 of Pineville was arrested September 23 on a Sharp County warrant and was released to Sharp County later the day of his arrest.

Richard Harris Smith, age 39 of Melbourne was jailed September 21 for violating conditions of drug court. Smith was committed to the Izard County Detention Facility for seven days.

Donald Eugene Tadlock, age 42 of Horseshoe Bend was arrested September 21 on charges of driving on a suspended license and operation of a vehicle without plates. Tadlock posted bond the following day in the amount of $510, released from the Izard County Detention Facility and issued an October 6 Horseshoe Bend court date.

Edwin Ben Teegarden, age 43 of Dolph was arrested September 21 on a Baxter County warrant where he was later transported.

Jeremy David Wray, age 37 of Oxford was arrested September 21 on a Baxter County warrant and was later transported to Mountain Home.

 

Michael Woodward, age 31 of Evening Shade was arrested September 22 on a failure to pay fines warrant and after appearing before District Judge David E. Miller, Woodward was released from the Izard County Detention Facility with an October 8 court date.
