DAVID GRIFFIS TYLER HUDGENS
David Keith Griffis, age 39 of Larkin Road in Melbourne was arrested Friday on a warrant accusing him of terroristic threatening and harassment. According to sheriff’s department records, a juvenile phoned her mother and the mother’s husband, Griffis, answered the phone and began cursing her and making threats toward her along with other inappropriate comments. Griffis is also alleged to have told the female that he was going to do bodily harm to her father and that he would beat her as well. Griffis also made extremely vulgar comments s toward her using sexually oriented language. Sheriff Tate Lawrence said that he had received previous complaints from others alleging inappropriate conduct by Griffis. These complaints are under investigation. Griffis posted bond the day of his arrest in the cash amount of $1000 and issued a court date.
A domestic situation Sunday afternoon at a Melbourne convenience store resulted in the arrest of Wilson Thomas Ring, age 68 of Melbourne. Ring, his wife, and his son’s ex-wife and her husband had met at the sheriff’s office earlier to exchange minor children. All were later at the convenience store where an argument developed and Ring is accused of attempting to hit the husband of his son’s ex-wife, missed and instead hit the female. Ring was charged with domestic battery third degree and remains in the Izard County Detention pending an initial court appearance and has November 12 court date.
Tyler Paul Hudgens, age 31 of Norfork was arrested Friday on a felony failure to appear warrant out of Izard County Circuit Court. Hudgens did not appear to answer five drug related charges involving four felonies and one misdemeanor ranging from possession of marijuana , possession of meth and hydrocodone and possession drug paraphernalia.. Hudgens remains incarcerated in liue of $10,000 cash bond. Hudgens is scheduled to appear in court on November 17.
Diedre Marie Moore, age 27of Mountain View was arrested Friday on an Izard County warrant for theft of property. Moore is alleged, as a caregiver, of stealing medication from her client. Moore was arrested on the warrant in Stone County and Sheriff Tate Lawrence said that Moore is also facing charges in that county. Moore posted bond the day of her arrested in the amount of $1,000, was released from the Izard County Detention Facility and given a November 12 court date.
Jacob Raymond Frey, age 26 of Mountain Home was arrested October 27 on the charge of disorderly conduct at which time he tested positive for a controlled substance. Sheriff Lawrence noted that Frey is one who has had numerous contacts with law enforcement. Frey later posted bond in the amount of $220, was released from the Izard County Detention with a December 10 court date.
Tommy Lyle Franks, age 50 of Calico Rock was arrested Friday a failure to appear warrant. Franks remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of a cash bond of $1,980 with a scheduled court date of November 12.
Jaye Frank Guy, age 48 of Pineville was incarcerated October 26 following a 20 day commitment imposed by Izard County District Court and is scheduled for release on November 14.
Bradley Troy McNealy, age 43 of Guion was arrested Friday on a failure to appear warrant out of Izard County District Court. McNealy remain incarcerated in lieu of a $1,540 cash bond with a scheduled court date Dec. 17
Frank Cox, age 21 of Calico Rock was jailed Thursday on a probation/parole hold and remains in the Izard County Detention Facility without bond.
Zachery Lynn West, age 30 of Salem was arrested October 26 on a failure to appear from Izard County District and remains in the Izard County Detention Facility without bond. West is scheduled to appear in court on December 12.
Kayloni Kaleigh Kirk, age 23 of Ash Flat was arrested Sunday night on a failure to pay fines warrant. Kirk remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of a cash bond in the amount of $1,670. Kirk has a November 3 Horseshoe Bend court date.
Shannon Dawn Gilbee, age 43 of Sidney was arrested Sunday afternoon on a Clay County warrant and was later transferred by to Clay County.
Amanda Marie Thomas, age 30 of Dolph who was incarcerated in the Izard County Detention Facility awaiting bed space in the Arkansas Department of Correction was transported Friday to begin serving her circuit court sentence.
