LEVI MILLER PHIL CARGAL
Sheriff Tate Lawrence said three individuals were arrested November 4 in rural Izard County following a compliant from a family member that there were people in an RV on his property and they were doing drugs. Arrested were Levi Sheridan Miller, age 20 of Evening Shade was charged with three drug related offense to include possession of methamphetamine, a class “d” felony; possession of narcotics, a class “a” misdemeanor; and possession of drug paraphernalia, a class “a” misdemeanor. Miller was released November 6 from the Izard County Detention Facility after posting bond in the amount of $5,000. Miller is scheduled to appear in Izard County Circuit on November 17. Another male, Zachoria Odell Henry, age 19 of Evening Shade was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance, and possession of an instrument of crime, both of which are class “a” misdemeanors. Henry posted bond in the amount of $2,370 later the day of his arrested and was released with a November 12 court date. A female, Amelia Irene Peek, age 38 was arrested on charges of criminal trespass and obstruction of governmental operations. At the time of arrest, Peek tested positive for opiates meth, amphetamines and marijuana. Peek remain in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu $840 bond.
Tanya Leanne Stanton, age 40 of Horseshoe Bend was sentenced November 2 to a year at the department of corrections as the result of violating provisions of drug court. Stanton will be transported as soon as bed space becomes available.
A Horseshoe Bend man, forty eight year old Ronald Hill was arrested November 3 when he appeared in Horseshoe Bend Court under the influence of drugs. Hill was charged with public intoxication and it was determined that Hill had wrecked his vehicle and left the scene of an accident which he was also charged. Hill posted bond later the day of his arrest in the amount of $220 and given a December 8 court date.
Phil Lawrence Cargal, age 37 of Calico Rock was arrested Thursday on charges during a traffic stop to include possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, having no insurance, and two failure to appear warrant. Cargal remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $3,615 bond with a schedule court date of November 12.
Jamie Woodcock, age 28 of Calico rock was arrested November 3 on an absconder warrant and for carrying a prohibited weapon. The arrest followed the Central Unit dog team assisting in locating Woodcock in a wooded area. Woodcock remains in the Izard County Detention Facility without bond and court date of November 1 and November 17.
Timothy Dwayne Woody, age 48 of Calico Rock was arrested November 6 on a U.S. Marshall Services warrant. Woody was transferred Sunday to Van Buren County to be held for federal authorities.
Colten Chase Fall, age 19 of Melbourne was arrested November 3 on the charge of possessing a controlled substance. Fall remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $1,250 bond with a court date of November 12.
A Dolph man, forty five year old Tony Alfonso Grigg was arrested Thursday on felony criminal contempt charges and a petition to revoke his probation. Grigg remains in the Izard County Detention Facility without bond with a circuit court date of November 17
Michael Robert Pinkonsly, age 52 of Oxford was arrested November 3 on a department of correction absconder warrant and possession of a controlled substance. Pinkonsly is scheduled for revocation of probation hearing on November 17.
Beth Ann Kelly, age 35 of Batesville was arrested November 6 for driving on a suspended license. Kelly posted bond the day of her arrest in the amount of $365 cash and was transferred to Independence County where she faces additional charges.
