JESSICA BURGE KILO HARPER DONATHAN SPEAK
A Batesville woman, Jessica Burge, age 38 was arrested January 15 following a traffic stop and charged with three felonies possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine,possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to use methamphetamine, and furnish prohibited articles in a jail. A search of Burge during the booking process determined that methamphetamine was discovered in a body cavity. Burge remains in jail in lieu of a $25,000 bond with a circuit court date of January 25.During this same traffic stop, Kilo Harper, age 21 of Batesville was arrested on a charge of possession of methamphetamine with the intent to deliver in addition to charges of driving on a suspended driver’slicense, having no insurance, and operating a vehicle without a license plate. At the time of his arrest, Harper tested positive for methamphetamine. Harper remains in the Izard County DetentionFacility in lieu of $25,000 bond and has a March 3 circuit court date. Asp Trooper Villiger was the arresting officer assisted by sheriff’s deputies.
Steven Ray Conyers, age 47 ofMt. Pleasant was arrested January 20 on charges of domestic battery and terroristic threatening. Conyers posted bond the following day in the amount of $1,000 cash and released from the Izard County DetentionFacilitywith a court date of March 1. Deputy Geoffrey Watts was the arresting officer.
Deputy Jayden Whitfield arrested Donathan Speak on Sunday with charges of domestic battering third degree along with three counts of endangering the welfare of a minor. Forty one year old Speak of Calico Rock is accused to hitting his wife and physically throwing three children out of the residence. Speak remains in jail pending a judicial hearing.
A Pineville man, 32 year old Jesse Daine May was arrested January 18 on the charge of domestic battery. May appeared before District Judge David E. Miller on January 21 and was released from jail and given an April 7 court date. Deputy Mike Foster was the arresting officer.
Jason Dean Cossey, age 38 of Franklin was arrested January 18 on the charge of criminal trespassing. Cossey remains in the Izard County DetentionFacility in lieu of a $500 cash bond. A February 18 court date has been set for Cossey who was arrested by Deputy D.J. Tiernan.
Floyd Allen Galbraith, age 37 of Salem was arrested January 17 for possession of a controlled substance and possessing prohibited articles in a jail facility. Additionally,Galbraith was charged with traffic violations of driving on a suspended license and driving left of center. Galbraith will appear in Horseshoe Bend court March 1 and Izard County Circuit Court on January 25.Deputy Toby Smith was the arresting officer.
Joshua Edward Wrestler, age 29 of Salem was arrested January 16 on a failure to pay fines warrant. Wrestler was released the following day and given a February 2 court date in Horseshoe Bend. Deputy D.J. Tiernan was the arresting officer.
Willow Joseph Meadows, age 59 of Horseshoe Bend was arrested January 18 on charges of criminal mischief and possession of a controlled substance. Meadows who was arrested by Deputy Mike Foster remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieuof $500 cash bond and has a Horseshoe Bend court date of March 1.
Lena Suzette Branscum, age 36 of Calico Rock was arrested January 22 by Deputy Evan Jones on the charges of driving while intoxicated-drugs and careless driving. Branscum was released Sunday from the Izard County Detention Facility and given a March 3 court date.
