WOMAN ARRESTED ON DOMESTIC BATTERY

Sgt.Gabe Sanders responded Friday to a domestic violence situation in Oxford. Megan Renae Androff is accused of yelling and throwing things within the house.  Sheriff Tate Lawrence said the male victim stated that Androff hit him and scratched his face and that he was eventually able to run out of the home in his underwear to a cousin’s house.  The twenty three year old was arrested on the charge of domestic battering third degree and when booked into the Izard County Detention Facility she tested positive for marijuana, oxycodone, opiates, meth, and benzo. Androff was released from the Izard County Detention Facility on Sunday after posting a $150 cash bond and given a court date of March 24.

Andrea Dawn Knievel, age 37 of Melbourne a was arrested Sunday for driving on a suspended l license. Neevel posted bond the day of her arrest in the amount of $365, given a March 24 court date and released from the Izard County Detention Facility. Deputy Cody Cruse was the arresting officer.

Heather Marie Franklin, age 27 of Cherokee Village was arrested Sunday on a failure to appear warrant. Franklin posted bond the day of her arrest in the amount of $365, given a Horseshoe Bend court date of April 5. Deputy Mike Foster transported Franklin from the Sharp County jail.

Anna Marie Stiles, age 29 of Horseshoe Bend was arrested Monday morning on charges of driving while intoxicated, possession of a controlled narcotic, and failure to maintain control. Stiles remains in the Izard County Detention Facility lieu of $2,265 bond. Deputy R.C. Lenex was the arresting officer.

Inmates of the Izard County Detention Facility who were awaiting bed space in the Arkansas Department of Correction were transported March 1. Sheriff Lawrence said these inmates include Calvin Wilson, age 65 of Melbourne; Kenneth Lee Wright, age 48 of Batesville; and Roger Lee Johnson, age 46 of Melbourne.  Deputy Y.D. Whitehurst was the transporting officer.

Nacy Michelle Delaney, age 44 of Pocahontas was arrested March 2 on contempt of court charges for having not paid circuit court fines. Delaney was released the following day and placed on a monthly payment plan. Delaney was arrested by Deputy Cody Cruse.

Delores Gene McNealy, age 38 of Melbourne was arrested March 1 on contempt of court charges relating to payment of fines. McNealy was released the following day and appeared in Izard County District Court on March3.

Angela Marie Baker, age 36 of Monette was arrested Friday of a contempt of court warrant relating to failure of paying circuit court fines. Monette was released from the Izard County Detention Facility on Saturday after posting a $3,680 cash bond and was given a March 21 court date. Deputy/Jail Administrator Mindy Jones served the arrest warrant.

Johnny Lee Cartwright, age 38 of Sage was arrested Friday upon his release from the Independence Jail on charges of harassment and terroristic threatening. Cartwright posted bond the day of his arrest in the amount of $3,000 cash.  Deputy Cody Cruise was the transporting officer.
