SECOND MAN ARRESTED ON THEFT WARRANT

 The second male allegedly involved in the breaking/entering and theft of property at a residence on Zion Road has been arrested. Christopher Lane Eiler, age 34 of Cave City was arrested and charged June 13 and remains in the Izard County Detention Facility without bond. Joshua Allen Clark of Violet Hill was earlier arrest in connection with this theft of a four wheeler and other items while Eiler remained at large until Monday. Both Eiler and Clark have a scheduled circuit court date of June 28.

Billy Eaton, age 60 of Brockwell was arrested June 13 on a warrant accusing him of harassment and terroristic threatening second degree. Eaton appeared in court June 16, was allowed to bond out of jail on a $3,000 and was issued a no contact order. Eaton’s next court date is August 4. The arresting officer was Deputy Jaden Whitfield.

A Saturday night traffic stop on highway 56 resulted in the arrest of Staci B. Gentry, age 40 of Calico Rock on charges of driving while intoxicated, refusal to submit to a chemical test, and disorderly conduct. Gentry who smelled of intoxicants, had watery and bloodshot eyes, and was unstable on her feet, refusal to continue the series of field sobriety tests after failing the first test became belligerent towards the arresting officer when placed under arrest. Gentry resisted instructions and when being transported to the Izard County Detention Facility she stated that the officer was gay and said that she was going to state that he raped her on the way to jail. At the jail Gentry was belligerent with jail staff and sat down stating that she was not going to enter the jail cell. During an inventory of her vehicle an almost empty bottle of peppermint schnapps was located on the passenger seat. Gentry was released the following day after posting a cash bond and given an August 4 Horseshoe Bend court date. Deputy R.C. Lenex was the arresting officer.

Following a motorist’s compliant that she was being chased by another vehicle driven by Lisa Marie Gann and notified her husband of such. The husband had the vehicle stopped when Deputy Mike Foster arrived on the highway 58 location. Gann smelled of intoxicants, had slurred speech and watery blood shot eyes. Gann, age 30 of Cave City failed field sobriety tests. Several containers of beer and an empty liquor bottle was located in the vehicle. Gann was charged with driving while intoxicated and having no insurance and was transported to the Izard County Detention Facility. Gann was released the following day and given a July 7 court date.

Kristopher  Lynn Engles, age 27 of Guion was arrested Thursday night on charges of driving while intoxicated and possession of a controlled substance. Engles remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $2,070 bond with a court date of July 21. Deputy Evan Jones was the arresting officer.

Following a one vehicle accident the morning of June 15 on Lunenburg Road, Monica Elonna Chruchwell, age 39 of Sage was charged with driving while intoxicated-drugs, driving on a suspended license, no liability insurance and careless and prohibited driving. Chruchwell was released from the Izard County Detention Facility on June 16 and released to White County authorities.  Churchwell has a court date of December 15. Sgt. Mark Simino was the arresting officer.

A Wiseman woman, Tori L. Reiley, age 39 was arrested June 15 on charges of theft by receiving, possessionof drug paraphernalia, and public intoxication.Reiley remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $1,960 bond and a Horseshoe Bend court date of July 5. Deputy Mike Smith was the arresting officer.

Brandy Michelle Collins, age 38 of Horseshoe Bend was arrested the night of June 15 on charge of disorderly conduct. Collins was released the following day from the Izard County Detention Facility and given a July 5 court date in Horseshoe Bend. Deputy Mike Smith was the arresting officer.

Steven Laverne Paul, age 42 of Glencoe was eased June 15 on a probation/parole hold and remains in the Izard County Detention Facility without bond. Probation Officer Josh Morehead was the arresting officer.

Dusty Michelle Powers, age 39 of Batesville was arrested June 15 on contempt of court warrant relating to failure to pay circuit court fines. Powers was released the following day and issued a circuit court date of June 28. Deputy Evan Jones was the arresting officer.

Carol Ann Baum, age 47 of Batesville was arrested June 14 on a failure to pay fines warrant and was later released to Sharp County authorities to stand additional charges.  Deputy D.J. Tiernan was the arresting officer.

Devin Frances Newton, age 37 of Franklin who had been an Izard County inmate awaiting bed space in prison was transported June 14 to the women’s McPhearson Unit in Newport. Newton had been an Izard County inmate since May  11.
