OXFORD WOMAN FACING THREE FELONY CHARGES

An Oxford woman was arrested Friday in connection with identity fraud, fraudulent use of a credit card, and forgery. Genena Snyder, aka Genena Johnson and Genena Adams, age 55 is accused of obtaining a credit card in another person’s  name and charging heavily on the account and then attempting to pay the charges using a bank account of another victim. Snyder had used the credit card to charge more than $23,000 to the first victims’ account. Snyder remains in the Izard County Detention Facility facing three class “c” felonies and is being held on $30,000 bond. Snyder’s circuit court date will be September 19.

Ronnie Hayden Womack, age 55 of Melbourne was arrested Thursday on an Independence County warrant accusing him of breaking and entering. Womack was released to Independence County authorities the day of his arrest.

Eduardo Sotelo ,age 24 of Sage was arrested Late night August 13 on charges of driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of an accident. Sotelo appeared before Judge David E. Miller the following day, and was released on a $200 cash bond and given an August 18 court date.

David Wayne Watkins, age 26 of Wideman was arrested August 13 on the charge of domestic battery third degree. Watkins is accused of head butting his mother, throwing her on the floor and slapping her.  Watkins appeared before Judge David E. Miller the following day and released from the Izard County Detention Facility with a September 22 court date.

Rusty Roy Mero, age 45 of Mammoth Spring was arrested August 14 on the charge of battery third degree. Mero is accused of knocking a 58 year old man to the ground and started kicking him. The incident occurred after the victim yelled at Mero to slow down and turn his vehicle music down. The victim required stitches in the facial area. Mero remains in the Izard County DetentionFacility in lieu of $1,120 bond and has a Horseshoe Bend court date of October 4.

Darrin Ryan Bookout, age 38 of Mountain Home was arrested August 13 on a child support warrant. Bookout remains in the Izard County DetentionFacility in lieu of $10, 538 bond.

Brenda Kay Sutton, age 44 of Mountain Home was arrested August 13 on a failure to pay fines warrant. Sutton remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of a $270 cash bond with an August 18 court date.

A Cherokee Village woman, Felica Banks, age 31 was arrested August 13 in Horseshoe Bend on charges of public intoxication-drugs and possessing an instrument of crime. Banks posted bond the day of her arrest in the amount of $1,340 and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility with a Horseshoe Bend court date of September 9.

Laura Hinkle, age 49 of Melbourne was arrested August 9 on a failure to pay fines warrant. Hinkle was released the day of her arrest and given a September 8 court date.

Kristy R. Goodson, age 35 of Calico Rock was arrested August 5 on the charge of theft by deception and was released August 12 after posting a $250 cash bond. Goodson’s court date is August 18.

Zacgary Cole Arnold, age 22 of Horseshoe Bend was arrested August 11 on a Sharp County absconder warrant and was transferred the day of his arrest to Sharp County.

Richard Kyle Cohn, age 29 of Horseshoe Bend was arrested August 8 on a drug court violation is scheduled to be transferred to the Arkansas Department of Correction.

James Edward Colt Filchack, age 42 of Oxford was arrested August 9 on Fulton County charges and transported the day of his arrest to Salem.

 A couple were arrested August 10 following an argument and altercation on that date. Amos Albert Holland, Jr., age 49 Calico Rock and Jacky Louise LeJeune, age 41 of the same address remain in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $1,120 bond each. Both have a scheduled court date of August 8.

Laura Jeanne Hinkle, age 48 of Melbourne was arrested August 9 on contempt of court charges and is scheduled to appear in court September 8. Hinkle remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $270 cash bond.

Shelby Lynne Johnson, age 25 of Horseshoe Bend was arrested August 10 on a petition to revoke probation and is being held in the Izard County Detention Facility without bond. Johnson has a scheduled circuit court date of September 19.

Marty Lee Jones, age 44 of Mountain Home was arrested August 8 on charges of domestic battery third degree and theft of property. Jones appeared before Judge David E. Miller the following day, and was released and given a September 8 court date.

Joe Lee Lynn, age 22 of Seymour, Missouri was arrested August 6 on the charge of public intoxication. Lynn posted a $220 bond the day of arrest, released, and issued a September 8 court date.

Tonya LucilleTilley, age 39 of Jordan was arrested August 10 on a bond revocation warrant and is being held in the Izard County Detention Facility without bond. Tilley has a scheduled circuit court date of September 19.

Melissa Marie Williams, age 46 of Mount Olive Road in Melbourne was arrested August 5 on the charge of theft by deception. Williams is accused of failing to return a vehicle to the rightful owner after she was allowed use of it. Williams posted bond the day of her arrest in the amount of $500, given a court date of August 18 and released from the Izard County Detention Facility.

Douglas Hale Wiggins, Jr., age 43 of Livingston, Texas was arrested August 9 on a San Jacinto County, Texas warrant and is being held in the Izard County Detention Facility for Texas authorities.

 Shannon Kane Bellers, was transferred August 10 to the Arkansas Department of Correction. Bellers had been an Izard County inmate since middle May awaiting prison bed space.
