McCurley Formally Charged

Chance McCurley, after being arrested three days prior, has been formally charged with five class “d” felonies. Three of the charges relate to firearms including possession of a fire arm by a convicted felon-two counts, theft of property (firearm), and criminal use of a prohibited firearm ( sawed off shot gun). McCurley was additional charged with breaking or entering. McCurley is facing probation revocation in addition to these charges and remains without bond in the Izard County Detention Facility with a circuit court date of September 19.

A Horseshoe Bend man, eighteen year old Jonathan Cristopher Lundry was arrested the night of August 23 on the charge of domestic battering third degree. It is alleged that Lundry became physical with a female family member. At the time of his arrest, Lundry tested positive for marijuana and benzodiazepines and remains in the Izrd County Detention Facility in lieu of a $1,000 bond. October 4 is his scheduled court date in Horseshoe Bend.

Forty six year old Timothy Lee Little of Melbourne was arrested the night of August 20 on the charge of domestic battering third degree.  Little is accused of hitting and pushing his son numerous times after the juvenile arrived home at three in the morning. Little was released the day of his arrest and given a September 22 court date.

Richard Hancock, age 29 of Horseshoe Bend was arrested August 23 on the charge of disorderly conduct after neighbors complained about him playing loud music and disturbing them. Hancock posted bond the day of his arrest in the amount of $220 cash, released from the Izard County Detention Facility and given a September 6 Horseshoe Bend court date.

Allen Dale Ivy, age 58 of Mountain View was arrested August 21 on the charge of driving on a suspended license. Ivy posted bond the day of his arrest in the amount of $365 and was released from the Izard County DetentionFacility with a September 8 court date.

Jeremy Willis, age 20 of Evening Shade was arrested August 23 in Horseshoe Bend on a Sharp County warrant and was transported to Ash Flat by Sharp County authorities.

Tonya C. Perrin, age 42 of Sage was arrested August 24 on the charge of violating Arkansas hot check law. Perrin was released the day of her arrest due to medical conditions and given a September 8 court date.

Margaret Marie Brabon, age 42 of Pine Bluff was arrested on a failure to pay fines warrant. Brabon remains in the Izard County DetentionFacility in lieu of a $1,620 cash bond. Brabon has a scheduled court date of September 6 in Horseshoe Bend.

Steven Bennett Meek, age 56 of Horseshoe Bend was arrested August 22 on a probation violation hold and remains in the Izard County Detention Facility without bond.

Veronica Beck was committed to the Izard County Detention Facility by the Izard County Drug court and is scheduled for the Arkansas Department of Correction. Beck is being held without bond.
