In response to a domestic violence call to Calico Rock on September 28 resulted in the arrest of a 45 year old female. According to Deputy Geoffrey Watts, Cindy Arnold of highway 223 had become combative with two other females over an argument over a tattoo for Arnold’s son and child custody issues. Arnold is accused of grabbing and scratching victim ones’ arm, pulling her hair and breaking the victims’ glasses. At a later point Arnold hit victim two on the elbow with a baseball bat. Arnold was charged with domestic battery-two counts and taken to the Izard County Detention Facility where she is currently being held on a $1,120 bond. A court date of October 6 has been set for Arnold.
Following an incident at the Brockwell intersection of March 14, 2106, an arrest warrant was executed September 28 on Cory Auther Welch, age 38 of Calico Rock. The complaining female stated that she and her boyfriend had received texts from Welch that were obscene in nature and very threatening. Welch remains in the Izard County Detention Facility with an October 6 court date.
A Dolph woman, 44 year old Jeanette Bobbie Pool was arrested September 27 on a failure to pay fines warrant. Pool was released the following day from the Izard County Detention Facility after posting the required $620 cash bond and was Given a Court date of October 6.
Tanya Turner, age 47 who is using a Calico Rock address but previously was of Melbourne, was transferred Thursday to the Arkansas Department of Correction. Turner had been held in the Izard County Detention Facility since July 9 following her violating terms of her parole.
Laura Danielle Trant, age 48 of McKinney, Texas was arrested October 3 on charges of driving while intoxicated, careless driving, refusal to submit to a chemical test, and no insurance. Trant remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $1,235 bond and has a court date of November 3.
Ajecia Mae Harjio, age 28 of Melbourne was arrested October 2 on a Washington County warrant and for driving on a suspended license. Harjio remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $2,270 bond with a court date of November 3.
Zachary Cole Arnold, age 22 of Horseshoe Bend was arrested the night of October 2 on a felony absconder warrant and a failure to pay fines warrant. Arnold remains in the Izard County Detention Facility on a probation/parole hold.
Cecile Bridges, Jr., age 41 of Calico Rock was arrested September 30 on a Sherwood Police Department hold and was later transferred there.
An inmate being held in the Izard County Detention Facility after being sentenced for violating a no contact order was further charged as a result of his conduct, according to Sheriff Tate Lawrence. Casey Daniel Clouse, age 35 who was assigned as a trustee was charged with obstructing governmental operations and disorderly conduct. A court date for the new charges has been set for November 3.
Joshua Michael, age 38 of Wideman was arrested September 26 on the charge of driving on a suspended license. Williams posted bond the day of his arrest in the amount of $365, was released from the Izard County Detention Facility with a November 3 court date.
