AMY SMITH JOHN WAYNE MARVIN
Following a call to dispatch the night of October 13 that a man was acting strange and walking around a vehicle on Red Lane in Calico Rock, Clifford Teegarden was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated-drugs, having no driver’s license, no insurance and failure to transfer title, and improper use of registration. Teegraden was released Sunday after appearing before District Judge David E. Miller with a court date of November 17. Deputy Evan Jones was the arresting officer.
A couple other alcohol related arrest were made after Deputy Mike Foster noticed two men on the side of highway 69 just after midnight on October16 engaging in what appeared to be a fight. After further investigation, it was determined that a fight was not in progress but that both males were intoxicated. Milton Omar Murillo, age 23 of Melbourne and Juan Antonio Negrete-Amaro, age 32 also of Melbourne were transported to the Izard County Detention Facility where both jailed on public intoxication charges. Both posted a $220 bond later that day and were released with a November 17 court date. Deputy Steve Davidson was the assisting officer.
Cpl. Richard Williams made a routine defective equipment traffic stop in Calico Rock Saturday night and noted that the driver had slurred speech, red and watery eggs, and smelled heavily of intoxicants. After failing a field sobriety test, Joseph Wolford, age 40 was arrested on the suspicion of driving while intoxicated and transported to the Izard County Detention Facility where his blood alcohol content tested at .12, fifty percent greater that the legal limit of .08. Wolford was released later the day of his arrest after appearing before District Judge David E. Miller and given November 17 court date.
Jacob Wayne Moore, age 36 of Paragould was arrested Friday night on the charge of driving while intoxicated and speeding. Moore was released the following day after posting a $990 bond and given a court date of November3.
Amy Lynn Smith, age 23 of Salem was arrested Sunday on a felony failure to appear warrant and remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of a $10,000 cash bond. Smith is scheduled to appear in Izard County Circuit Court on November 7. Fulton County authorities made the arrest.
Kendra Leigh Hinds was arrested October 10 on a warrant accusing her of forgery in the second degree. It is alleged that Hinds stole the check book of a Drasco man, wrote a check to herself and signed the account holder’s name. Hinds appeared in district court the following day, plead not guilty and a trail will be held at a later date.
John Wayne Marvin, age 30 of Oxford was arrested Saturday on a theft by receiving charge. Jail personnel said that Marvin was somewhat combative when being booked into the facility. Marvin remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of a $1,500 cash bond and has a court date of November 16. Marvin was arrested by Fulton County authorities.
Bethany Nicole Williams, age 27 of Bexar was arrested Friday a hold for a probation/parole violation and remains in the Izard County Detention Facility without bond.
Amanda Nicole Miller, age 28 of Waldron was arrested October 11 on a felony failure to appear warrant in Izard County and was later transferred to Independence County to answer charges in that jurisdiction. Miller was given an Izard County Circuit Court date of November 11. Miller was arrested by Deputy D. J. Tiernan.
Zachary Lynn West, age 32 of Salem was arrested October 10 on a failure to pay fines warrant. West remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of a cash bond of $601 with a court date of November 17. Deputy Jayden Whitfield was the arresting officer.
Nathaniel David Arnold, age 35 of Dolph was arrested Sunday on failure to appear warrant. Arnold remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of a $3780.00 bond and has a court date of November 17.Cpl Richard Williams was the arresting officer.
Steven Laurence Carroll, age 34 of Marked Tree was arrested October 23 in Mark Tree on an Izard County failure to pay fines warrant. Carroll is being held in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of a cash bond of $1,137 with a court date of October 20. Deputy Dennis Hutchins was the transport officer.
Jimmy Lee Bond, age 43 of Batesville was arrested October 12 on a failure to appear warrant from Izard County District Court. Bond remains in jail in lieu of a $2,250 cash bond.
